I think Dusty did ok for his first time on the track. He handled the car well from what I could tell. Good job Dusty. I think Jordy got short changed. He kept it racked up more than anybody and it sounded to me like and he got around better. 😂

@@Carbogarbo42 Joshua has mostly been behind the wheel of carts, rarely a full size dirt race car. He had a real good handle on that Crown Vic. Joseph, Jonathan, and their friend Jesse are the full timers in the dirt late model stock cars, and Jordan wheels the heck out of that open wheel modified. The entire HTF crew is awesome.
@@tracyjones6284Joshua used to race late models at Southern and was quite successful. They made a video a while back about how Joshua won his last race on the same night that Joseph started his first race in a late model.
@tracyjones6294 are u new to the channel joushua raced late models but had a family and moved away to Jacksonville he just returned a year ago I believe yea he raced carts but he was new to all that musta went sour because it been awhile since he done any of that

Need to put inner tubes in rear tires and drop pressure way down to around 15 pounds. Car needs grip not motor.

A lower profile rear tire would help a little bit with the gearing. Sounded like it was laying down coming out of turn 4
I ran a 99 crown Vic in several enduro races about 13 yrs ago. In the left rear of that car, when you open the door between the fender weld and where the door closes against. Basically right in front of the left rear tire. You had to cut a flap out but there was a dead space that was filled with foam. But If you take the foam out a 50 lb chunk of lead happens to fit nicely down in there. So when you shut the door and weld it or chain it you’d never know it was there. Our enduro races were “bone stock” but a little extra left rear weight ain’t gonna hurt anything.

Need to put on s.aller rear tires if allowed or drop it in to low 1 or 2 . Looks like it was in drive. I would also run a bar from the drivers right shoulder area on the back bar to yhe right front floor pan under the dash to stiffen it up to stop roll over. JMO. Thats how i race mine..
Put some camber in the front it will help him out. Be safe boys 🙏Weld the spider gear in the rear years of building demo derby an put some camber in the front it will probably pick up a half second. One more thing we did is put the battery in the trunk tied down. I have a lot of ideas to help you our give me a shout.

What do y’all think about unhooking the power steering to help with the oversteer, be hard to drive in the pits but might help on the track.
Do you know what oversteer means? Its when you go through a turn and the rear end wants to come around versus versus understeer where it wants to plow like a dump truck The last thing you want to do is take away steering capabilities
In asphalt we take the power steering and rack of the car gives u more power nothing bout under or over steering but I also only race a neon nothing bigger then that
So why did you guys remove the windshield on the first car, when the second car still intact?

Y’all should do this with all the cars to see who can run the fastest lap start with Jordys Mod, Then a 604 Latemodel and finish it out with the super it would be a cool little video series
Disconnect right front brake line and put nail in it then reattach. Then left front will turn car. Two foot the car wide open. Don’t shift it low gear all the way around.
From what I can recall the LEO package crown vics had something around 4:11 gears, and if you want to get the views up you need more street take over smokey burn out videos, because they are good for millions of views allegedly. At least that is what the guys at 187 Customs TH-cam channel are saying, which I would not doubt that with the amount of times I see the street take over clips on other youtube videos.

Just take some vice grips and pinch the brake line. That way all the stock parts are still there.
