Starting with a trip to Monas to learn about Indonesians fight for independence against the Dutch colonisers .I tried to catch the MRT train to Glodok but little did i know it was under construction. I take a walk threw China town before coming upon a local traditional market called Asemka Market. Feeling hungry i make my way to food stalls to sample some local foods.

That's the old Chinatown area. Try the new Chinatown in PIK2.
The old Dutch town area is in Kota Tua nearby the old Chinatown.
By the way, you can use the card from the National Monument as the transportation card.
