Just leave capcom alone! They are leaving it alone for a reason. Why pressure them to remake a game which cannot be improved? adding better visuals, more content, extra chracters, new stories, different expansions won't ever make the new version better then the orginal untouched RE 2. That game is perfect 10/10... the way it was crafted.. the graphics, the sounds, the sights, are spot on and just felt right at the time. Today it still is seen that way.
Gotta agree with ya, people keep wanting remakes but the games don't need anything "redone" maybe re-released but they are already available on PSN! I love the polygonal graphics walking over pre rendered backgrounds along with cheesey campy story because thats what Resident Evil is!
Though i am all for RE 2 remake, i must agree with you. the very thing that made RE 2 so amazing is as you said the graphics, the sounds, the sights, were original and classic. Sure, i wont hide it, id like to see how RE 2 would be remade but im sure, no matter how many RE's will capcom make or how many remakes they do, none will have that special feel that RE 2 has, which in my opinion is THE best RE game there EVER was and EVER will be
I disagree. If they got the same team that did the Gamecube REmake and redid RE2 along the same lines, it would make an already great game even better. Don't let your nostalgia goggles keep you from seeing the range of possibilities. I would absolutely *love* to see what they would do to make the game more scary. Even if they ended up remaking the game (which I hope they do like they did the gamecube REmake) your PS1 classic isn't going to disappear, and no one is going to keep you from playing it.
The GameCube remake was awesome. Love that mansion to death. Listening to all the save room soundtracks sets the mood to play. I would love a remake of RE2 & Nemesis
I want a RE2 and RE3 remake, that is exactly like RE0 and RE1Remake. And im sold, hands down. Fun idea, put RE2 and RE3 remake in a bundle and name it the Raccoon City Edition. That would be sick! That would be day 1 for me.
zombieslayer I heard back in 2014 that they are remaking all the Resident Evil games. Hopefully they add 2 and 3 together because they were basically the same game, same time frame, different character and new features. RE3 was basically an RE2 update rather than a new game.
Roland Denton its this kinda catering to all audiences that ruined the series for a lot of fans. The option of a 3d camera would mean they can't use pre-rendered backgrounds, which to me are a staple to the old style of resident evil. Prerendered backgrounds may seem outdated, but they add so much to the atmosphere because creators can put amazing detail into the background with relative ease and without worrying over resource usage. Also, concept artists can really focus and bring into shot what they want shown. Still amazed by some of REmastered's rooms and locations, and that was 2 generations ago, imagine what they could put to screen today.
Resident evil 1 remake is the best survival horror ever made. Resident Evil 0, 1, 1 remake, 2, 3 nemesis, code veronica and resident evil 4 is best and real RE. The rest is just garbage. RE 2 and 3 deserve remakes!!!!
When I said battlefield I meant the environment in 3D. Obviously not like BF play-ability etc, Just so camera allows more of the backgrounds to be seen. In other words first person perspective or maybe like Dead Space was.
What they should do reamp the graphics and have it feeling less restricive on the controler..I think it should be kinda like 6 where you have three differnt campains..After you get done playing leons story you can play as jill where it ties into three.
Well I thought Resident Evil Remake was a lot better than the original not saying re 2 or 3 is bad but with the graphics up to par why not? If you guys dont like it stick to your classic and let us play it jeeze.
Don't worry everybody, they'll never make it. It's Capcom, so they won't stick to their word or listen to their fans. So why are we crying out for this REmake when it's pretty much impossible. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see one, and I think RE has been fucked up since RE4, I prefer the original style and stories. But honestly, Capcom pretty much just fucks it up again, and in the end, won't deliver at all. Just sayin'.
You published this on my birthday... which is approaching.. and is also the day Jill tried to escape. "September 28th..." This must be a sign from the gods!
Want to support an RE2 REmake? Want Capcom to see it? There's an RE2 REmake support thread on Capcom Unity under the General Discussion section of Resident Evil. There's also a link under the thread to a petition with over 8k signatures.
have two styles of playing resident evil 4 style but keep it the same with improve graphics or have it like the og resident evil to have the player choose and the invetory the same as the og ammo limited so only find it
In terms of re-visioning, I agree, but there is one thing that I would like to see added that, in my opinion, would've worked in the story itself but was not in the story itself. And that is: Mr X was looking for the G-Virus, seemingly seeking it out by smell (like Nemesis tracked Jill). Where would the largest concentration of G-virus be? Inside William Birkin's body. As such, it's only logical that the two would've run into each other at some point. And man, what a battle that would be...
Continued comment- I would love to see elements added such as, but not limited to: Fully rotatable camera, Rag doll physics system, different campaigns, melee attacks, you could use weapons from your environment, dual wielding pistols, The ability to search dead enemy's bodies, BRING THE PUZZLES BACK!!! Real time weather, more outside areas, More cinematic dialog... SO many ways to improve this game... Anyone else LOVE going through the city as Leon in RE6?! Brought back memories of RE2.
Perhaps, what would be nice is if you complete the game, you unlock re1.5 game mode and the character we didn't see from 1.5 can have a separate story mode maybe. The multiple endings I would like to see is if you play badly, it can somehow effect your next play-through in scenario B, For example, collecting every weapon and health items in the game, leaving barely anything for the other character in scenario B.
What do you want in RE2 remake? totally new police station? a lot of side mission that help police and survivor to defend station? new zones before reaching umbrella underground? more playable story after G virus train explode (boss not dead)? a RE6 style game with: Jill story Ada story Leon story Claire story Hunk story
Ya the Resident evil 4 beta had totally different enemies and game mechanics than the finished version did. Yuriowind has a video on his channel if your interested in it.
i think i would probably have 3 scenario's to go through, play as leon in one claire in the other then maybe add a scenario for Hunk that is more than the gameplay he has after you beat it which is just a quick runthrough of the police station. or maybe to extend the game life even further add a scenario or just another cutscene in the beginning showing ada coming to racoon city, since her role in the RE series is so freaking huge anyway, why not give her more time in the light
They should make camera angles like in Resident Evil 4, 5, & 6 to make it better to see what's ahead and how your killing the enemies. I played RE2 and the first time I played it, I had no clue what I was doing with the enemies or anything. I think better camera angles would be great.
First of all... i subscribed this video because you got some good points about Capcom remaking Resident Evil 2. In my entire life, i´ve never watched a video of someone commentating about trying to remake a game that is a nostalgic one, so if people understands after watching this video, then you did a good job. So to start with the remake RE2. First, Racoon City is the center of the T-Virus apocalypse and for that, there should be a fusion with RE 1.5 (With a start of the Outbreak), RE Outbreak, RE2, RE3 and probably bits from Operation Racoon City. With it, we could choose the characters and we play the scenario based upon character we chose. However, there should be some cutscenes that shows bits from different characters from different RE games (like RE Outbreak with RE3, RE2 with RE 1.5). Second, There should be co-op on allied bots, if we face an apocalyptic B.O.W. And lastly but important one, give us some badass cutscenes bosses like Tyrants and Nemesis and G-Tyrant as well, not to mention scary scenes as well that we could shiver our spines. That is all i have to say, based on my ideas of remaking the Resident Evil on Racoon City. I bet that many of you are a bit disapointed on recent sequels of some stupid ass remakes from RE2, so if they do things right, they need to put fixed cameras like AOS said and give a decent remake...
That could work out well. Doing something like that would indeed add much more .....strategy and tension to gameplay. That being said, they could also use that concept with the puzzles and how that could affect the pacing of the game and outcome of the story too. Also, since "crimson heads" were such a big hit with the first game, i cant help but wonder if they plan to bring them back as a permanent staple to resident evil lore? Like how
Basically a remake in the same sense as the cube Remake of RE1 was. A lot darker/scarier and high res pre-rendered environments. Imagine 1080 pre-rendered environments? And the poly count it would allow for the characters, it would be awesome. So yeah, some new rooms added ... Like that room next to the statue/red jewel puzzle. I've always wanted to know what was in there. Also the burning bodies/crimson head thing is a nice add on. Maybe some sort of Leon/Claire co-op.
I would make it more mobile to remove the tank like feeling.... but the item inventory should be fine.. With Survivor Horror ammo. But cramming Resident Evil 2 and 3 into one game would be interesting and something I would enjoy.
Well that's not exactly true either, there are stores (local and online) that sell retro consoles/games still. PSone isn't impossible to find nowadays (not that rare compared to some older ones), u can find them literally cheaper than when they were 1st released.
Yes. Not a whole bunch of action scenes and moves, but something like RE6 had, just scaled down a bit. Make no changes to the general story, although adding small side things *Like Lisa Trevor in the REmake* can make it more interesting. Ditch the over-the-shoulder camera angle. Give the FPS guys something new. Make a 'Xtreme Battle' or 'Mercs' mode that is over-the-shoulder OR Fixed angles like RECV's Battle Mode had.
The idea of combining RE2 & RE3 might sound good but it would complicate things since the original games already have established titles unless they call RE Code Veronica Resident Evil 3 like they were originally planning to do..
A good thing would be like Alien Ressurection, first part you play as like Leon, and then there is like a cutscene wher he talks with for example Jill in another part of the town or the police station and you jump over to her to play as for a while and then over to claier and you work your way trough it like that
I agree with the fixed camera angles and the older style gamplay like the re1 remake but if they did it right they could use the type of camera movement from re4 through 6 but they can also combine 3 with it as well as 1.5 as a bonus or something but they should include 3 with it because according to one source someone said that part of it is before and after re2 another said it was during and after so which is it or is it before, during and after Someone please respond because i think Continue.
Resident Evil 5 Lost in Nightmares DLC is the perfect example of the mixture of the two. The way I like aiming and playing from that 3rd person view and not from those camera angle, and every time you enter or exit a room they had that cut seen where you only see the door opening and you walking through it like the good old Resident Evil Games!
kind of like the multiple campaigns idea but only if it was done like the re 1 remake. but you could break it down into Leon A-B Claire A-B Ada A-B Hunk A-B and add Berry A-B and Rebecca (some of us like her) A-B and a shit ton of extra content that is not dlc. one thing that mite be nice is add re 1.5 but as a re made re 1.5 as well as the old 1.5 all on the same disk. just as long as it is like the re 1 remake and we get to play it I would be happy.
You know how they re-released Resident Evil 4 in HD on the X-box Live Arcade? It's pretty much the same engine as the remake; they should re-release the Resident Evil Remake in HD on a disc with a Resident Evil 2 Remake made in the same fashion, as like a panegyric to survival horror history. At that point, they could even update the original Remake with any cool new features added in the RE:2 Remake that improved the game while staying true to the original... Ehh, one can only dream...
Ideas i have for a res 2 remake... make it look exactly the same as res1 remake in terms of graphics, fixed camera, tank controls & a grainy dark atmosphere, with the addition of a 180 turn and all that good shit, plus a bunch of new areas. plain and simple and it's perfect!
I would love a 1-3 remake along with more weapons along with the classic weapons and more places to explore and more enemies new bosses and maybe free roam gameplay that you can run around for hours and find secrets and extra content regarding the storyline. Maybe even multiplayer support?
How so? You could have 1080 pre-rendered backgrounds which would look spectacular which would allow for some insanely detailed characters/enemies to be on screen. Y'know an actual 1080 game instead of 720 upscaled. Hell, I've got the REmake emulated on my PC at 1080 and it looks better than a tonne of "current gen" games.
I'd love them to remake it - I think you're right also in pointing out how awesome that REmake was in the first instance. With that in mind, I'd like them to approach a remake to RE2 in a manner of "it's a sequel to REmake, so we'll keep that universe in mind; the extended mythology and enemies etc.; but we'll keep the base storyline and setting from the original RE2". I think something like that, merging what worked successfully from both iterations, would be an awesome game to play.
But that was the scary thing while playing RE 1,2 and 3. You didn't know what was ahead and you had a disadvantage for aiming and moving; that created a lot more of tension and made running instead o fighting and shooting a better option.
I have a feeling that Capcom's Resident Evil division have the alpha parts of either a REmake2 or RE7 on hold just for the moment. The group may be a little confused as to how to design the next game due to conflicting reports between reviewers, fans, and the like. Once the Evil Within is released, I think the production will pick back up on the next RE game, as they may go off the feedback/critiques/reviews that game gets on the way to designing the next RE game.
If it was the original Re2, I wouldn't be to badly worried. Claire is a decently fast and maneuverable character, and her Grenade Launcher can get occasional head-shots. Leon is a head-shot guarantee, Shotgun and Magnum both with upgrades. You also move at a decent speed through the city, and once out of the main Police Station you wouldn't have to worry about hanging around long enough for Crimson Heads to pop up. Then again, a REmake...oh boy.
The idea of combining 2 and 3 sounds really good. I am up for a Resident Evil 2 Remake but its got to be the same when the original was release. One idea I thought about to add suspense is if it is a 3rd person, you have like 3-5 zombies coming at you and you don't want to waste your ammo, the only thing is run. Good Video by the way. I am up for a remake.
What if they made 1, 2 & 3 together with RE6's engine? but the way that they built together Lost In Nightmares DLC from RE5. Fixed-y angles, door animations, etc.
if they did do a remake, id'e up the graphics, better the voice acting, add on a couple new places that we didn't see in the original games, id'e add RE 3 an a remake, and have Crimson heads in the games. cus Crimson heads turn into Lickers, so it would just make since, plus. it would really make you question weather or not to shoot the zombies, or just run if you couldn't burn the body's. but, i would have the ability to lay your items on the floor like RE 0. it would make things easier.
Resident Evil 2 remake should be multiplatform with a flexible camera like Lost in Nightmares where you could have fixed or over the shoulder. Its emphasis should be on horror and this can be applied with the audio rather then visuals.
I think the point now is how they're considering a remake of a classic game in the series. I mean if it's a remake it should stay retro themed and not change completely for the sake of sales but entirely new game and story is a different situation. look at the original RE1 on PS1 then look at the Gamecube remake to see what I mean about how it changed but not entirely.
There's two ways to remake RE2... 1.) A camera mode for aiming and the normal camera being an optional over the shoulder that can be toggled to change to old school cinematic. 2.) A completely Old school cinematic camera throughout, with easier controls, perhaps more simple aiming mechanic, camera centric direction and a run button that also pushes you forward.... Which would you guys prefer and why?
i'm having a friend stay over and he's bringing resident evil 2,3 and code veronica, there are definatley thousands of classic resi gamers out but i think they should really make the 3 characters thing with leon, claire and jill. they could also possibbly throw in carlos' story because you only play a small segment of his campain in resi 3
My idea, RE"Origins", contains resident evil 0, 1(Gcube ver), remastered 2 and 3. Bonus content: videos, trailers, art, character profile, enemy profiles including story arcs(For Example: Nemisis...I want to know more about him, is he a failed tyrant expieriment? was it caused by the T or G virus? How exactly was it tracking Jill?) and exclusively for the first time ever, a playable version for home console, the original resident evil 4 beta(and does anybody else want to play that as bad as me?)
Actually RE2 was my first, I thought it would be interesting to include atleast something to show what the older games would be like with the newer game controls. If you look I first said we would get the remake and than get the reimagining just as a little bonus thing.
@gunsmipe033795 Agreed. I'd like to see RE2 events crossover with RE3, maybe the characters even catch glimpses of each other, or help each other out while staying at arm's length. I don't think a full on interaction between Claire, Leon & Jill so early in the series would be so great for the story or anything cannon wise, but I could be wrong.
three campaigns, leon, clare and jill? bonus campaigns with ada and sherry that contains full of puzzle solvings? hmmm tempting...you know that might actually work
I've been looking for something like this to get done since I first played the remake in 2002. I was a senior in high school. My buddy and I have dreamed about Capcom doing this to RE2 & RE3 just like the RE Remake - exactly like it... it's all we've wanted for Christmas for 11 years.
I think it would be cool if you could change the options in the game to have old-style RE controls, or play with the modern third-person controls. I personally would like to see how the old Resident Evils would play with RE4 controls, but if I had to choose, I would rather have the original controls just for the nostalgia.
and oh yeah keep mercinari mode for 3 as well where you run around with a timer bomb and have to get points but have it to where you get to unlock each individual gun for certain points achieved in it instead of just the machine gun rocket launcher gattling gun and then unlimted all have it to where its more in depth in unlocking each weapon individually and in my opinion that said would be incredible for 3 itself
It gets harder to do that though. The first 2 games where secluded in a remote mansion, deep in the mountains. As the virus research and such progressed, it would be natural to think it would start happening on a global scale. So its harder to justify every resident evil being in some rich guys mansion i think lol I know a lot of people complained about the tank controls for a long time. Do you think they should change it back or did having bad controls make it scarier on your end? Since the
Then again in resident evil 2 when you go in the stars office and find Chris's journal he says he went to Europe to investigate umbrella they never made a game of that did they?
The Re2 remake should be similar to the Re1 Remake. such as fantastic graphics, new rooms and puzzles, a very hard difficulty, fixed camera angles (maybe add a 3rd person view angle to it), Alternate the story a little bit (Like in Re1 remake you can save Richard's life), Multiple endings and great worthwhile rewards (especially when you play the game twice to unlock a door, put a high powerful weapon or outfit in there).
It's got my vote. All I'm asking for is some previous closure with Leon and Ada or at least a scene where she escapes with them instead of the two tearjerking as hell fake deaths that they gave us. You don't have to agree with me. It's just the one thing I can name off the top of my head
I think first and foremost they should give it the same gritty feel that they did with REmake. The original RE was gritty enough but the sound and the use of shadows and lighting made the game particularly excel and it became one of the best looking GC games. Secondly the idea about adding RE3 to the package is quite interesting. Allowing the player to experience the stories as they happened asynchronosly. Worth considering though is would it be in Leon/A and Claire/B for example?
Just as long it's not like DC3 i'm ok with that. I would like a new boss like in RE Remake, Idc with the camera angles, but i prefer the awkward angles because it added on the horror effect. I don't mind co-op but only have it in mercs, not in the campaign, as for bonuses, include hunk and ada's bonus missions(from UC) when u beat the game, extra costumes like in RE Remake, include RE3 since it's around the same time.
Agreed. REmake was made while Mikami was still on board if I remember correctly; I don't think we need a RE2/RE3 remake to parallel what's been happening with movies for the past decade. Besides, with the direction the series has gone now, there is no going to back to the way things used to be.
adding more content is not hard, its a city, they can always add more accessible areas, the same with the police station, add some 1.5 areas to make it longer
Good point, yes absolutely. I think Res 4 had some magic moments which were pure class' Like the enemy in the gas room and those canisters had to freeze it and also the church on the hill with lightning. Res 5 took such a dramatic turn and i still don't believe they got it correct. One idea I had for a level was on a Fun Fair park at night, All the rides still active and abandoned. Res 1 on the game cube will always be my fave remake. Cheers mate.
I think that 2 and 3 being put together with the RE6 multi scenario is actually a great idea. I can't believe I had never thought of that. But did they happen at the exact same time or one literally right after the other? Or had there been a time laps? I guess id doesn't matter since there was a six month time laps between some of the scenarios in six. Anyway, I'm getting sidetracked. Yes, better graphics would be better in a way. The fixed camera angles though. It's been so long we'd have to retrain our selves to use those again so I think the current style would work out well and have the RE4 inventory system that way there's still limited space for weapons and ammo. Aside from that, of course one thing I think all of the RE games should have and yet only a few of them have is the One Shot, One Kill head shot. If you shoot a zombie in the brain, it's gonna die. In most of the RE games, that isn't the case. A couple did it, but there are a lot of RE games out there. Anyway, yeah. Improved graphics, over the should view, RE4 inventory system, one shot one kill head shots. That's what I think would really improve the game.
I agree that the remake should be like the RE1 remake. Better graphics, more rooms, and a longer story. I also think they should bring in gameplay elements from RE 3.5, keep the fixed camera angels but when you use your gun you switch to third person over the shoulder view like 4.
Resident Evil 2 for the N64 was my first RE experience. I was terrified and had nightmares (I was only 12), but the story intrigued me and won me over. Biohazard Cafe in Shibuya, Tokyo is nothing like the games, by the way, but I recommend going for pure fandom and delicious food!
Why can't the Remake play with a hybrid style of Resident Evil Remake and Resident Evil 4. Almost like what 4's earlier builds were with the stationary camera's and then Over-The Shoulder view when you Aim. No need for all the melee stuff. And then if people want the aim controls to be classic style make that an option. Bam everyones happy. Even go as far as being able to switch from the original build of the game to the remake build, like Monkey Islands Remakes.
I say put 2 and 3 together since they took place roughly at the same time. I say update everything as well while keeping the SAME formula and everything that made RE2 so great, same goes for 3. But AlphaOmegaSin, thank you for suggesting RE 1.5, Im so glad im not the only one who feels that way about it. Hell, they could even throw in the RE4 beta they had goin, because I know im not the only one who would want to play that!
holy shit man, you've got the largest collection of video games I've ever seen. I agree that they shouldn't change the formula of the original games, Keep the same creepy angles and the prerendered backgrounds, that's what made the games good in the first place
am i the only one hoping that if they do a full on remake that they add a 2 player option where obviously one person is Leon and one is claire, but I'm not saying make it a full on shoot em' up, but just have it made to where it's a big open area just like it was and each player has something different to do in a different area rather than being side by side the whole time..just my suggestion not saying it has to be a standard or something
I think they should do it like 6. Put 2 & 3 together. Follow the same storyline but give the characters some action moves like in 6. The storyline was already prefect. All they need is to update the graphic
Take some bits of the noncanon Operation Raccoon City it canon. The meeting of Delta Team and Echo Six, make them brief or have them show up every now and then to ether Attack or help you in select key points and keep the ending the same from the first but be for then end you find out that Delta Team and Echo Six join up to take down Umbrella.
So your one of those guys who happen to play part 4 of RE series for the first time. Right? You perfer the over the shoulder camera angle. Right? Well, I got news for ya. A new resident evil is due out on Oct. 6. RE2 remake is for the ones who want the play the roots of a classic game with current gen graphic.
Agreed, let a classic stay a classic, no need for a remake because the game is perfect the way it is.

I would love a remake of RE2 & Nemesis
the most important thing they absolutely have to include in the RE2 remake: Shinji Mikami.
I want a RE2 and RE3 remake, that is exactly like RE0 and RE1Remake. And im sold, hands down. Fun idea, put RE2 and RE3 remake in a bundle and name it the Raccoon City Edition. That would be sick! That would be day 1 for me.
If they did I would buy it in a heart beat for myself and for my siblings
I would definitely buy that. An even better idea would be to bundle 2, 3, and Zero all remade and have them ported on to PS3, PS4, and Wii U.
You Sir should be awarded with a Nobel prize for that brilliant idea!
zombieslayer
Code Veronica remake would be good.
zombieslayer I heard back in 2014 that they are remaking all the Resident Evil games. Hopefully they add 2 and 3 together because they were basically the same game, same time frame, different character and new features. RE3 was basically an RE2 update rather than a new game.
if they do, i hope it has different options for the camera, o you can decide if you like the classic version or over the shoulder
2015 and still nothing.
2016 and its REmake2 confirmed.
Yeah I know.
2024 and 5 remake on the way 😂
We fucking made it.
I would kill for a RE2 remake if they do it right
dont😅
@@snowindafunboots4369 I literally felt disappointed...
What they should do reamp the graphics and have it feeling less restricive on the controler..I think it should be kinda like 6 where you have three differnt campains..After you get done playing leons story you can play as jill where it ties into three.
RE2 is the greatest game in the series. There is no solid reason NOT to remake it.
It would be cool if they gave you a choice between the classic fixed camera angle, or the behind-the-back camera from recent games
Well I thought Resident Evil Remake was a lot better than the original not saying re 2 or 3 is bad but with the graphics up to par why not? If you guys dont like it stick to your classic and let us play it jeeze.
i would definatly set up a function in the options that allows you to go from the classic wall cams to the over the shoulder like RE 4.
As harsh as it sounds, I can't help but to agree with you 100%
Bruh
You published this on my birthday... which is approaching.. and is also the day Jill tried to escape. "September 28th..." This must be a sign from the gods!
Want to support an RE2 REmake? Want Capcom to see it? There's an RE2 REmake support thread on Capcom Unity under the General Discussion section of Resident Evil. There's also a link under the thread to a petition with over 8k signatures.
I don't normally watch your videos, but I actually found this hilarious.
have two styles of playing resident evil 4 style but keep it the same with improve graphics or have it like the og resident evil to have the player choose and the invetory the same as the og ammo limited so only find it
Okay, so I absolutely loved this video. I'm with you on this one! You reminded me of Damien Sandow from the WWE @AlphaOmegaSin
The multiple endings I would like to see is if you play badly, it can somehow effect your next play-through in scenario B, For example, collecting every weapon and health items in the game, leaving barely anything for the other character in scenario B.
where do i sign?
oh forgot to mention ADD ELZA (1.5 blondie) as a seperate campaihn or just add 1.5 to it as a seperate disc.
What do you want in RE2 remake? totally new police station? a lot of side mission that help police and survivor to defend station? new zones before reaching umbrella underground? more playable story after G virus train explode (boss not dead)?
a RE6 style game with:
Jill story
Ada story
Leon story
Claire story
Hunk story
When have we heard this from Capcom before?
I hope this happens but I can't see it myself. They have all the support they need shown below me.
And pre-rendered backgrounds too right?
That could work out well. Doing something like that would indeed add much more .....strategy and tension to gameplay. That being said, they could also use that concept with the puzzles and how that could affect the pacing of the game and outcome of the story too.
Also, since "crimson heads" were such a big hit with the first game, i cant help but wonder if they plan to bring them back as a permanent staple to resident evil lore?
Like how
We definitely need a video of you discussing the Remakes of RE2 & RE3, please make this happen!
Question on an unrelated topic Alpha. Did you get your user name from the Cro - Mags album?
If shinji isn't involved I don't think it will be remade correctly
What if they made 1, 2 & 3 together with RE6's engine? but the way that they built together Lost In Nightmares DLC from RE5. Fixed-y angles, door animations, etc.
I am thinking getting the first game . Should I get the oreginal on ps1 or the remake on gamecube
ada section would be awesome and maybe like u said maybe a easter of jill fighting nemesis or something in the background
if they did do a remake, id'e up the graphics, better the voice acting, add on a couple new places that we didn't see in the original games, id'e add RE 3 an a remake, and have Crimson heads in the games. cus Crimson heads turn into Lickers, so it would just make since, plus. it would really make you question weather or not to shoot the zombies, or just run if you couldn't burn the body's. but, i would have the ability to lay your items on the floor like RE 0. it would make things easier.
Resident Evil 2 remake should be multiplatform with a flexible camera like Lost in Nightmares where you could have fixed or over the shoulder.
Its emphasis should be on horror and this can be applied with the audio rather then visuals.
@Mark Sørensen To me I just don't Beileve in remake the classic. There
That makes perfect sense. From the way you put it, I think I want to see that happen more than my idea coming to life
I think the point now is how they're considering a remake of a classic game in the series.
Since the
that would be cool, to merge the two games together while maintaining each ones individual arcs
I'd love it! The RE remake for Gamecube was awesome.
I want one thing included, however: The ability to play the whole campaign with Hunk's uniform.
Ok buddy. no problem. Glad you understood.
The only way they can really F up is if they make it action based (RE4 style) cause that would take part of the difficulty out
I think that 2 and 3 being put together with the RE6 multi scenario is actually a great idea.
Even if this happens, Capcom will find a way to fuck it up. Also, day one DLC.
I would love to see more of the hunk story on a remake, either dlc or unlockable content
I think there should be 3 scenarios with Clair, Leon, and Jill with fixed camera angles with a special 1.5 feature.
I think they should do it like 6. Put 2 & 3 together. Follow the same storyline but give the characters some action moves like in 6. The storyline was already prefect. All they need is to update the graphic
Take some bits of the noncanon Operation Raccoon City it canon. The meeting of Delta Team and Echo Six, make them brief or have them show up every now and then to ether Attack or help you in select key points and keep the ending the same from the first but be for then end you find out that Delta Team and Echo Six join up to take down Umbrella.
y is there a mutated fly as a boss in re 6 (leon's campaign), sorry random thought
For those who want camera angles and for those who dont they can do both they did in RE 5 lost in nightmares
Capcom will make some cinematic scenes as DLC. Also it will already be on the disk. There's a shotgun gem dlc for 1.99 and makes Leon auto block.
