This was awesome and I wish I would have brought out the huge VHS camera we had and recorded it, especially since she passed in 2012.

I would enjoy listening to whatever you play but I like your choice of contemporary music. 3-The fact that when you are playing it is so obvious how much you are enjoying yourself. Gamazda! I really felt that you preserved the 80s feel of this song. I could feel the excitement and electricity in the air. It almost felt like I was watching live in the 80s. Your ability is really astonishing. I dont know if everyone hears the same way I do, but I hear what you do with a song and what you dont. Each has its own charm and I think that is what I like about you the most. Most artists are very interested in bringing their own style and personality into everything they do. And I think you are completely capable of being as recognizable as someone like Joe Satriani is with guitar. On the flip side I really like that you are able to leave that part out and reproduce songs in the feel and style they were originally made. To me it shows respect and pays homage to the artists, the era, the historical feel and accuracy. That gets lost so often when songs are covered and they are too often modernized and lose their original vibe. I think your appreciation for all music must be pretty incredible. You deserve world wide fame! Just dont let it change who you are or that metal edge that speaks volume about who you identify as in this world. And we all know Metal heads are the best people on the planet....lol.

I really listened to this and tried to realize how much effort and skill it to to transfer one of Iron Maiden's best songs into a piano piece and all I could say is "DAMN! THAT GIRL eF'n ROCKS!" You did a 💯 Awesome job!
I always think that. I always wonder what they wouldve thought. Like if she traveled back and said “this is music from my time” and played “One” by Metallica, would they love it? Think it was trash? Be amazed? Scared? Influenced? Would love to know right?
@@hoyit they would probably think it's shit because of the simplicity. Although we can think rock music is complicated because of the solos and the fast drum, the simplicity of 1-3 guitars, 1 bass, 1 drum and 1-2 vocal lines is infinitely way less complicated than the 5th Symphony for example. One was written by a whole band, the 5th was written solely by Beethoven and had 1 piccolo , 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, contrabassoon, 2 horns, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones (alto, tenor, and bass), timpani and a lot of strings (violins and violas). Rock, metal, and basically any modern song is absurdly simple compared to classical, so they would probably think it's shit or at most "rudimentary".
@@bruxotlaloc you mean like for example the very simple Dance of Eternity by Dream Theater changing the time signature 100+ times? ;) Maybe not this one but I guess especially Bach would have loved quite a few prog-rock/metal songs.

I've been playing the piano for 60 years and have heard many excellent musicians but what this young lady can do is pure magic for my ears! BRAVO!
