Just imagine how much time would save them having at least one powerful, high torque Impact wrench. Do not beleive they can not afford it.

I dont know exactly but at welding, steel looses hardnes. So the repair would not last for long.

Just raw labor without any power tools available. This is how it's done where cheap labor is vastly available.
