That steak scene was every lactose tolerant while drinking milk
It's biologically very similar, actually. Your body produces special enzymes to help you digest meat or lactose. The lactose enzymes are supposed to naturally stop when you're weaned, and the meat enzymes work similiarly by stopping then they're no longer needed. Lactose *tolerance* is just a mutation that keeps that enzyme around past infancy.

As someone in recovery from an eating disorder, I love this satirical exposé of the toxicity of diet culture. I know it may seem a crazy dream, but one day we will all be able to eat what we feel like without guilt or shame. Everyone should eat how it is right for them, because bodies are unique and no two people eat the exact same way

Probably the best diet out there is calorie counting and there’s apps out there that assist with it
Basically you can eat and drink whatever you want as long as you keep the calorie count below a certain level

When your body haven’t digested meat when it’s used to it thinks you’re in danger which is why it hurts so much
There's literally special enzymes your body has to produce to help you digest meat. Your body doesn't bother producing them if you don't need them, so there's a painful adjustment period while your body catches up.

The pepperoni part is so true. I had a roommate who order pizza with pepperoni and then pick them off, because she wanted the flavor but is vegetarian so she couldn't eat the meat. facepalm
I don't do the pizza thing, but so many do. So people always assume it's okay. I more than just don't miss meat, with the exception of seafood (reintroduced for health reasons), I do not like meat. And picking it off just leaves too much meat flavor. Especially from pepperoni.

As someone who's been eating healther or trying my best to eat healther and maybe become a vegeterian some day, I can relate to some of this.
As a vegetarian I can say that honestly it is alright.
I'm vegetarian, and it's really easy for me! But everyone is different
As a vegetarian, it might be a little bit hard at first but once you learn how to replace meat and how to cook and what to use to obtain certian flavours it's super easy and you'll feel a lot better
