This just makes me miss Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios. That was AMAZING to attend as a Star Wars fan (and not a separate ticketed event!) and on such a whole other higher level. Loved the video!
We never got to experience the weekends but we do remember the march of the first order in front down hollywood blvd daily- it was awesome!! Everything is a money grab these days :( Thanks for watching.
Thank you! We truly love CA so much, we moved to Florida so we could stop using our vacation time at WDW and go on weekends and use our PTO from work to go to California :)
If you want to meet rare characters it's a must. Especially original trilogy or prequel characters. I loved it. I have to admit though, staying up until 4am EST was rough in my old age 😆.
It was good the blue pasta just tasted like pasta. Butterfly pea stuff is merely for color! It's actually not really good at all if too much is added in a recipe. It's a very bitter vegetal taste. For me, it reminds me of concentrated celery water. Love the video!
We were at the event on 4.18.24. If you really enjoy standing in long, badly managed lines for everything, this is the event for you. The effort put into this event by Disney felt kind of like an afterthought in a lot of spots. Highlights were the Cantina band on the Rivers of America, the lightsaber meet up in Galaxy's Edge, and the Grogu shaped beignets. The lack of merch in sizes L-XXL was a seriously bothersome thing, considering this was only the 2nd night of this event. For the $338 I spent for our tickets to this, I don't believe we'll be repeat attendees.
We had no time to look at merch or experience the shows because we were so busy trying to see all the characters. I do think there was a good line up of characters and wait times were low. I also think the walk and wave sections work better than the meets for some. My assessment was that if meeting these classic characters is your thing it'd be worth it to go at least once. Everything else seemed lackluster to me. Meeting Luke Skywalker was enough to peak my childhood nostalgia and make it worth it 😆. Definitely not a repeat event in my opinion either.

Hello! What a sweet story. Star Wars really brings people together. So nice he lives in California now with his wife. Cali may be our favorite state to vacation in. This really was a fun event. It was like seeing my toys as a child come to life. Thanks for sharing and for your support. It really means so much. May the force be with you, Frank, and your entire family 🙂.
@@ThemeParkFoodies Thank You Jay and Sam 😍 BIG HUG for both of you. North California near where they live is NAPA VALLEY 🍷 where the winery are ..is beautiful area ( like in Euro ) … very reasonably priced if you guys like wine. I miss them soo much …were assigned to that area ref work related… You both are lovely human beings and good looking attractive young adults ..as both my adult daughter & son. Enjoy your journey ..together 🕊🤍🕊 day by day. The BLESSING are NEW every MORING 🫶🏻
I cannot believe you got this out so fast!! So excited for Jay. My DH loves Star Wars (we saw the originals in the theater!!! lol). The food looks good. But strange lol.. um the drink w/the frog looks crazy. The blue noodle thing...I am not sure I could eat it? . But you liked it! The coffee looks great (I have only had DL one). Not sure I want a juicy pastry lol. Honestly, all of the characters look great. The whole Darth Vader/Maul rising from the stage brings back memories of my son doing the Jedi training. Great video! Thank you both. Do they do something like this in DW? Ok off to watch a bunch of videos! 💗
We got home late Saturday night and I edited it first thing Sunday morning :) We used to edit on trips but we decided not to do that this time. The food met theme for sure, and I was expecting to hate the blue noodles, but they were actually refreshing. The coffee was SO much better than WDW's version. We don't have Star Wars Nite on the East Coast :( they used to do the march of the first order regularly in Hollywood Studios but those days are long gone. Vader rising from the stage was awesome. Thanks so much for watching!
As an adult who loves Disney Parks, please do the commentary afterwards. Don't make everyone else, including the cast member, listen to this while they're trying to enjoy the park.
Thank you for your feedback. While filming we do our best to minimize interaction with guests and casts. We aren't perfect and we do choose to film this in a vlog format as a means to capture our initial reactions and organic experience. As guests, we take pictures and videos like any guest would. If you're unhappy with our format we implore you to support creators that film to your liking or to create the content you want to see 🙂.

@@ThemeParkFoodies haha you and me both brother lol the only time I see 4 AM is when I’m waking up for work
So excited for Jay and his Star Wars character experiences and Sam for her 10/10 Cold Brew (that would be my excitement as well )❤ Loved the vlog 😊
Haha you definitely nailed this- my excitement for the coffee was on the same level as Jay's Star Wars character meets. So glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for letting us know, I was lowkey grateful to not taste any unknown flavor lol Thanks so much for watching 😊

Would love to get out to Disneyland sometime. It’s on my bucket list. Have a great time.
Hope you get to experience it some day- it's such a special place :)

It's awesome to see you guys branch out beyond just food! Great video!
Thanks so much, the characters were what led us to the event and I am glad we were able meet so many ! Jay had a blast. Thank you for watching :)
Yes you guys met alot of them! And I agree with your take on the music it was kind of off they could've had a separate section of the park for that.
Star Wars night seemed fun.
It was 🙂, I just wish it was easier for me to stay up until 1am 😆.
Oh wow! You took a trip! How nice! Can’t wait to watch! Bless you both sending my love ❤
We had a blast 🙂. Disneyland is our favorite park. Thanks so much for your support.
I enjoyed watching you guys!
Thanks so much. We really appreciate knowing you enjoyed 🙂.
Looks like you had a good time! Enjoyed the video🌟💚
We did and thank you! It really was so much fun seeing all the classic characters. Happy you enjoyed 🙂.
Loved the intro fun vlog!
Thank you 🙂, we had a ton of fun making this video.
@@ThemeParkFoodies it looked it we had fun watching you have fun!😍
Jay, let me know if you ever think about auctioning the lanyard off. I'll take a second mortgage out
😆 The lanyard was so cool! It definitely makes the experience feel more official. If you're a Star Wars fan, to me, the event is worth the trek 🙂.
Means we could go edge galaxy too
9:10 if he moved and talked that would be awesome
It would! Hopefully one year they'll invest in a puppet or animatronic.
Hey guys, star wars night is still on ❤
Season of the force!!!!
I just want to publicly express that "Juicy Pastry" will forever haunt my dreams 😂
😆 don't knock it until you tried it man. Although I don't see how anyone was asking for this.
Juicy pastry. 😂
😆 If you're ever craving a juicy pastry Star Wars Nite has you covered.
😀
🙂 🌟
