If you listen to old DP and Rainbow.. you hear that he has always got the influenses from old folkmusic.. why do you think he recorded 16th Century greensleves with rainbow.. i think BM Night are great... Wonderful mix of folkmusic and modern influenses.. Peace brothers and sisters. !!
The Rainbow albums with Dio has some exotic influences as well.

I've always loved Richie playing since first seeing him in early deep purple, he plays what he believes in, he seems at his happiest at this period of his life both personally and musically, it's lovely to see him smile so much

Ya know what.. after a few years of listening to blackmore's night (and my whole life listening to countless other artists), I think I've come to know who my favorite singer is.

This is amazing!!! I recently heard Candice Night for the first time together with Tobias Sammet from Avantasia and found her voice amazing. Tracked her back to Blackmores Night and after a quick listening to a few of their songs from various albums, their entire backcatalogue is now on their way to my mailbox...simple as that :D

So much color in their music. . The cover of Street Of Dreams, The one with the duet of Candice and JL Turner is also excellent . Personally this group's talent and creativity is far superior to Deep Purple and Rainbow but does not diminish my liking for either.
Aaaaaah! What a good feeling gift I got again from Ritchie! 1:58-2:38. A deep fresh soul breath. Absolutely the best guitarist for me. I like his art now even more than 40 years ago - if possible. Meanwhile I listened to lot guitarists, but the nr 1 man remained the same. And he is the 2., the 3rd also. Only then are coming others.

I Love this song sooooo much. I have it on my ipod and keep playing it over and over as well as the rest of the album! I am so glad this was played Live in Newton NJ last night. The show was just so over the top fun filled with great people,amazing musicianship ,incredible vocals, dancing drinking and having a magical time the entire night!
