- I show how to remove coins from the inside of your Whirpool Cabro HE washing machine so that it doesn't destroy your pump or pump housing.

I have a Maytag commercial grade washer and dryer that is top load. I have found coins in the gap of the outer edge of the wash plate. They where caught in the Grove. I don't think they can get pass that on the new machines right?
I lost my chain in the washer do you

Question. My whirlpool is making a loud screeching sound on what appears to be the pump start up after the drum is spinning
Is something in the pump? Is is it the drum. It sounds like loud screaming.
I would flip it on it's face and take a look. If it has a belt, then look for heavy black dust. If it has the dust then replace the belt or try to tighten it. Screeching sounds are usually belts. If it doesn't have a belt, then look for the drum brake, as that could be sticking and may just need cleaning, maintenance, or replacement.
Sorry but you didn't say if it's a top load washer or bottom load. When you started the video I wish you would have showed the front of the washing machine to know what style your talking about because hoses are in different areas on front load and top-load, correct???. Thanks

How do you remove the from between drum on a front loading Maytag mashine
How do you know that you have a coin stuck. On mine, it sounds like maybe a necklace is stuck and dragging? What sound does the coin make? Trying to decide what part to open up..
Is it hard to do this with a Cabrio washer? How should the washer be placed so it is easy to get to? This keeps happening often so I have to do it to save money. Thanks.
It's actually really easy. I've had to remove coins several times and I think I have to do it again today. Just put an old towel down in front, rock it onto it's face, and do what I've shown here. The hardest part is getting it back up as it will want to slide, which is the 2nd reason you put the towel down. The towel really helps a lot in getting it back up on it's feet. If you're a smaller stature person or it you're a bit out of shape, you may want to have another person with you to get it down and back up. But really, it's easy enough that I haven't even considered the idea of a repairman.
@@PetesCreativeRecycling This is not that easy as you make it sound. I have had experienced repairmen who did not want to do this. Yesterday, I had a repairman who came over to fix my fridge and replace the drum belt on my Cabrio dryer, but did not want anything to do with removing the coins. He just gave up and said that he will come when it damages the pump. The repairmen I have hired were on the old side and not that flexible. That's why I don't want to take any chances. It is easy to remove the parts but very hard to put it back on. You evidently are a pro at this. I will see if I can get my son to help to see what's involved. Thanks.
@@borivilli I'm no pro. My degree is in software engineering. Replacing the pump is just as easy as removing the coins. It's the same process and it's not hard at all. I actually think it's easier to put the pipes back on the pump than it is to remove them. Good luck man. If you remove the coins you wont need to buy a new pump. If you don't remove the coins you'll need to clean a giant flooding mess and replace the pump.

@@funtush4808 where are the coins stuck at? If its the pumps, they're easily serviceable like any brand, just take them off, separate the housing, dump the coins out. If it's in the drum, then that's a lot different as most brands come apart very differently and some have press-fittings which aren't easily serviced.

Seeing this video i opened drain pipe and found 4 coins i washed with luke warm water but water drain slowly from drain pipe.. What should i do
I did not find any coin in the pipe or the white holder and it was hard to put is back i will if it work

It looks harder than it is. It's so easy that I do this every month just for preventative maintenance. Speaking of which... it's October 1st :)
