Females are sopranos, mezzo sopranos, altos or contraltos. I think contralto and alto both overlap with male ranges tho and contralto is the deepest a woman's voice can naturally (generally) be. I can't pinpoint pitches but I would assume Sonata is an alto, which is lower then tenor, or mezzo soprano, which is a female who can do some soprano notes and some alto notes.

But of course, as is the moral of the story so many times in MLP, there is something the sirens lack that the Rainbooms don't - it's the magic of friendship. Even though these seven individuals have such different personalities and backgrounds, they were able to come together and make a song derived from having fun and their love for their friends, contrasting heavily with the Sirens' song meant to hypnotize for power. Perhaps in terms of quality, the Dazzlings/Sirens are better. But the Rainbooms don't care. They're not trying to be popular. They're just having fun and want to help their friends. Besides, isn't having fun the most important aspect of creative hobbies like songwriting/singing?
