My bad y'all, I provided some misinformation. It is not a bag inside, it is a piston cup that is lubricated on the sides. Similar to a piston inside an engine.
hey, just a note for anyone watching, the remark about positive coming from the switch to the solenoid is incorrect. There is already 12v coming to the solenoid, the button actually switches the ground, so the second pin on the solenoid is switched ground coming from the button.
Nice video, I just got my aircups and installing it myself, the only thing is I'm leaving it exposed in trunk so I can easily access the drain port for condensation draining, I also want to install a water/oil seperator before tank!
I bought the full stanceparts kit a few months ago for my CRZ, this is going to help out a lot, thanks for the reference video! I’ll send you videos of the install on IG once it’s done. I need to do some measurements since I can’t hide the tank & compressor like you did so hopefully tank on top & compression under the trunk lid. The hybrid battery in my CRZ takes up too much space under the trunk cover 😭
Some have mentioned to me that the negative wire should be exceed 18inches. So try to ground the button negative to where the fuse box is inside. Then ground the relay negative somewhere in trunk or dont give a damn like me and just run a negative wire all the way down. Im hoping my video is a really detailed guide for your wiring issues. Let me know if you got issues.

Bro thank you very much for explaining the wiring setup you just made my life easier!!! Also how many lifts do you get before the compressor kicks in again? I have fronts and rear with the 2 gallon tank they provide and after 1 lift the compressor starts again :(
Great setup! I know this video is old and I saw one of your other video when you replaced the coil overs again (if I remember well) which coilover should I buy with this air setup?
I have a few questions, 1 what size car battery lugs does the power/ground wires require? 2 How’s the maintenance for this system? Cause I heard that the air hose tends to freeze and clog up, and 3 also you mentioned if the bags go out does Stanceparts or it’s company allow you to buy a replacement of the air bag separately? I’m really interested in putting this set up on my 2005 Ford Mustang and I currently have Silvers NEOMAX Coilovers on her with the ride hight set to highest I can put on her and ground clearance is starting to be an issue for my car.
Any battery size work. Maintenance is just releasing the air from air tank. If you can, go tankless. My lines are rusted I think because I never really had to purge the tank in CA but I have the car in Germany now so cold weather with moisture in air is something i overlooked. I misspoke and it is a aircup which is a piston inside. You have warranty but you can also buy the pieces individually.
Hey Im thinking about getting stance cups for my gt86 but I was wondering if I have to upgrade to swift springs or can I stick with the springs that come with the bc coilovers. Thanks!
Thanks for the Video. So with the install of the cup the website says it adds 30mm, so does that mean you have lower the coilovers an extra 30mm if you want to keep the current height you have without the cups on? Cheers
Most of the time, they say get a spring that is 1inch less or 26mm less. You can also like you stated lower the shock body to compensate for that extra 30mm.
It does not affect handling, when in the down position, it only deflated and only coilover performance. I have used a stanceparts air cup to allow myself to convert my spring internal diameter so that I can run stiffer springs, but that is about it.

Also, are you running any water traps, and do you have any recommendations on compressor, pressure switch and etc to buy if I'm piecing my own set? Thanks!

Hey whats up man. So most like 99 percent of coilovers out there are 14mm shaft size. I know bc is like 12.5mm shaft size. You can also take a measuring caliper to measure the largest park of the silver shaft of your coilover if your spring is removed. Most likely your RSRs are 14mm but you should check of course.
