I think I've been most impressed with Liam Pitchfords performance this year. Played really well as well as his contribution to the top 10 here, even though not winning his points.
Pitch will get there. He just needs to play with top boys week in week out. Only way. He’s miles ahead of anyone in England. European league’s are good. Bundesliga fir a start.Met him at the nationals a couple of years back.... what a decent,humble bloke. Took the time with just an average,out in the sticks,table tennis nutter! Couldn’t of been nicer. All the best to him. He works damn hard.

Tbh, the only reason why there are other players in this top 10 is that ITTF wants to diversify and show other players. But if it was really top 10 based on quality, the top 5 points would be coming from the Chinese.

Its something to do with a contractual agreement between ITTF and the camera owners, the poor quality is no fault of ITTF but people are quick to judge
On tv it doesnt feel super fast but irl I can barely react to someone who is average in competitions I can’t imagine how truly hard it’d be to react at these levels

Good selection of points. I think every point is deserved in there. Xu xins point angaist Liam Pitchford could be in there and a good point of the world cup final maybe but its always a hard decision. I like the list
