I have enjoyed your channel since early at your previous homestead. I love your exuberance in your many interests, woodworking, music, livestock, gardening and didn’t I see blacksmithing as well. You are real. And now best of all, now you own my favorite breed of cattle and he’s curly. Please be careful.. I want to keep watching.
I grew up on a 500 acre cattle farm. ~200 in the herd.. when you had one that was nuts and tried to jump out of things like the back of a truck or over fences and whatnot when you were working them they usually ended up earning the name cheeseburger pretty quickly...
I just grew up on a small hobby farm but my parents would get bottle babies to raise from the farm down the road from us. We always knew butcher time was just around the corner when they’d start getting out and being total jerks 😅 we had one that got out at 2am in January once. It was a nice visit from the sheriff In The middle of the night, letting us know that he was playing with the neighbors swingset a half mile down the road. It was great.
Music themed? All I can think of when I see him with that bright white belt between 2 black ends is Oreo Speedwagon....yeah, I know. I'll see myself out.
All your trajectory is overall upward . I'd be very satisfied if I were in your current place of endeavour. And I know my empathic sentiments could have destroyed my heart to have traveled in your shoes. Anne, you are a strong and very capable person. Thank you for sharing your path, your heart, your humor, your victories, your dreams, your humanity, your fears, your happy smile... you give your all with abounding optimism and charm. Much respect and admiration to you Anne. I look forward to all of your shares here and enjoy your webpage very much. God Bless you and your family.
To Square place: thank you for your amazing company. Anne is an example of the beautiful job your company has made her website. Anne and Adam and everyone your beautiful heart touches Happy New Year. Anne keep playing beautiful music on the heartstrings of our hearts 🥰 ❤️ hearts.
You probably have many names by now, but if you ever get another milk cow my wife suggests Kerry "Udder" Wood :-) We love your channel, and we just found it. Keep up the good work!
My gf raises sheep for wool, she has used the same type of fencing on her entire farm of sheep and horses. I often visit when she is rotating the fences! (Usually in the dead heat of the summer in NH.)
Oliver. William Oliver Swofford, known professionally as Oliver, was an American pop singer, best known for his 1969 song "Good Morning Starshine" from the musical Hair as well as "Jean".
Oreo is PERFECT for him, and if he was as lovingly raised as you say, then he will already be so used to his name. I feel like he is too old to rename him now.
We currently have 4 cows, had 6 in the summer, and yes, we've had such a hard time getting them on a trailer. They definitely jump higher than i thought!
This is random, but it happened to catch my eye--when you're driving, lock your doors! If you were to get into an accident, the unlocked door is just latched and can (even if unlikely) pop open, but the locking mechanism turns the door into a steel beam of protection for you with the latch disabled.
He looks absolutely stunning Anne Congratulations. Elton John always dresses wonderfully so maybe he should be called Elton John. He is going to be one very happy little man :) I know how the man feels, when my children and I left our property 20 years ago we had been breeding miniature Murray Greys, they knew when the kids and I would arrive home in the afternoon onto our property due to the music playing in the car and would run along the fence line just like cartoon characters kicking their heels so excited to see us knowing it was about to be their treat time in the afternoon with boxes of fresh produce that I used to pick up on my way home for them. Your video reminds me of the sadness we felt as we walked our girls across to our wonderful neighbour who had watched us raise them and breed from them. He always said he wanted to have one of my friendly hand raised cows because he saw how interactive they were with myself and my then young daughters. When he found out that we had sold and would be moving away to the south coast he came over and said “Theresa I want to buy them all :)” which made us so happy because my “crew” would be staying together. I remember walking back to our place and for the last few weeks while my girls and I still lived at our farm whenever the girls heard us coming down the road George and Wilma said that our cows would run to the fence mooing and looking for us. Our property at the south coast is too small for cattle and far too steep so I have never gotten to have cows again. Our Miniature Murray Greys made the best mums, they kept them safe from foxes. The very best of luck with your new young man :)
I'm pro at moving them. Listen. They don't like snakes. People yell at them and whip them but just hiss. Then you just need to watch the eye of the side of the head that turns to look at you. As you're walking behind the one you want. Move the direction they go so they move to go the opposite direction. Be there when the head turns. Return to the opposite side if they turn to look with the other eye. They'll give up and go straight. Use hissing sounds to move them. No yelling, no hitting. Try it.
Making them move with snake noises, just low hissing is enough. And then to get them to go straight, just watch the head turning to look. Be there! It makes them try the opposite direction. So be there too. Might take a few more times but they'll give up and go straight. I've been complimented on my technique. It works. They do not like snakes. They move for me and nobody can hear me yelling at them and the cow just moves. It trips them out. Cuz it looks effortless from a distance. Lol.
Looks like you could do some weed control by mowing your pasture with a brush hog. I have been surprised how much difference it makes if I mow the weeds before they form seed, halting the regeneration. After two years the grasses are dominant and the weeds are minimal.
You are totally right. Unfortunately I sustained a lifechanging injury at peak farm maintenance time, so the last mow/a whole lot of other things I would like to have done this year just didn’t get done.
I hope your healing is going well and you are soon back to all the wonderful things you do and film with your animals (and wood shop). Thanks for sharing your journey with us.@@AnneofAllTrades
Suzy Q, Sandwich, Woolly Bear, White Wall, Fat Boy, Brown Topper, Nougut, Black Cow, Charleston Chew, Nib, Mellow Middle, Smore. Grasping ideas... Good luck.
This came the day after I sold my last cow and calf so we can make a cross country move. I felt it very deeply when you said it was sad to see the owner say goodbye.
Johnny cash seems like a good name for the new bull lol. How were you able to take the blood samples yourself for the testing? We are in Missouri and our department of agriculture requires it to be done by a veterinarian. Thx for sharing!
If you sat down and watched me backing up a trailer or a vehicle to a trailer, you could enjoy a few sandwiches', learn some new curse words and pick up a truck repair job.
A gorgeous, fashionable bull with a high pitched moo, and a music themed name? Clearly, he is Freddy Moocury.
haha That's cute! but she may never get milk in that situation if ya know what I mean..
That's exactly what I was going to say... especially because it's a "belted" cow and Freddie had a high belt! 😂
Came to the comments to suggest this very name
I came here to suggest the same name! It's perfect 😀
I’m not sure I’d have said Freddie Mercury was “gorgeous” 🤣

Perhaps Anne of all Trades is an understatement?
They're so beautiful, Anne. Congratulations on your new additions!

Off to freezer camp

You have worked hard for all you have🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Worth every bit of the sweat and tears!
Oreo is a perfect name😂😅😂
I had a mini horse colored exactly like him. Oreo was a perfect name❤😊❤
We love you guys 👍 from the UP of Michigan
Music themed? All I can think of when I see him with that bright white belt between 2 black ends is Oreo Speedwagon....yeah, I know. I'll see myself out.
That was funny, very clever.
REO Chuckwagon
Perfect! I love it!

Since he has a ring around his body what about calling him Ringo?
Great name 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
🎉 HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉
Yes, ma’am it sure is!! We just recently moved our cattle. All but our bull. He refuses to get on the trailer.🤦♀️🤦♀️
Chester.
For no reason other than I like the name. 😊
Just checking in! I hope you are well. I’m excited about your school that you are building and all that you do.
Bully Ray Cyrus was the first name that came to mind for the new bull!
Paying homage to the greats of Moootown you can't go wrong with Moovin Gaye.
Love the name!
You probably have many names by now, but if you ever get another milk cow my wife suggests Kerry "Udder" Wood :-) We love your channel, and we just found it. Keep up the good work!
Isn't so cool to look back and see life's path that led you where you are today? Well done. Very cool path. Something to be proud of for sure.
Best of luck w/ the new guy. Thank you for sharing.🐂🐄
Looks like the cows have got a real "friend" in the new bull. So how about Randy Mooman?
Paverotti.
The Band. :) for the name. Have a wonderful week.
I think “Oreo” is the perfect name for the black and white one!! 😂🤣
I have no idea how this ended up in my feed,Iam gonna follow you now
Michael Bullton ! Love your videos!
Happy New Year
Freddie Moocury.
Beef gees is my vote for naming you beautiful new bull
I can't believe you mentioned "rotational grazing" (AMP, adaptive multi-padock )grazing. I just found out about it!
My gf raises sheep for wool, she has used the same type of fencing on her entire farm of sheep and horses. I often visit when she is rotating the fences! (Usually in the dead heat of the summer in NH.)
Obviously his name should be OREO Speedwagon
Hahaha omg that’s a good one
@@AnneofAllTrades That's perfect! Honors his previous owner, and makes the name even better!😀
You should call him Moozart
Oliver. William Oliver Swofford, known professionally as Oliver, was an American pop singer, best known for his 1969 song "Good Morning Starshine" from the musical Hair as well as "Jean".
I thought the thumbnail was an exaggeration. I was wrong 😂😂
Surely moving cows is herd (ing)?
Exactly what I said. "Moving Cows is Herd"
A Boy Named Sue
That's awesome
YES!!!! LOL🤣
May I suggest the new bull be called “Bob Mooley” (Marley)
Gotta name him "Keykow" (Think: piano keys)
Good looking young bull. Should make some nice calves.👍
We had an Oreo as our cute lamb! I do like Michael Muble! 😀
Hi Anne! I love your videos! What kind of barn do you have? I've been looking and am not sure what to get. Thank you!
If your new bull likes to stand in the place where [he] lives you could name him Michael Stripe.
Oreo is PERFECT for him, and if he was as lovingly raised as you say, then he will already be so used to his name. I feel like he is too old to rename him now.
Porterhouse Wagoner
😂
We currently have 4 cows, had 6 in the summer, and yes, we've had such a hard time getting them on a trailer. They definitely jump higher than i thought!
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR AWESOME HOODIES? ❤❤❤
New bull name: Orion ( as in Orion”s belt) since his paint job looks like a belt and also keeping the “O” sound that he was given with the Oreo name.
This is random, but it happened to catch my eye--when you're driving, lock your doors! If you were to get into an accident, the unlocked door is just latched and can (even if unlikely) pop open, but the locking mechanism turns the door into a steel beam of protection for you with the latch disabled.
Oreo is a gentle giant. The name Fezzick comes to mind as a new name. Andre the Giant's name in Princess Bride. 😁
An oldie relaxed crooner: Perry Cowmoo
The cows are so cute

Beautiful cattle! How about Wooly Nelson for the belted steer?

It's like the Jedi mind trick for cows

Some people call him the space cowboy. Some people call him the Gangster of Love. Some people call him Moorice.
When you worked on the fishing boat, what did you used to do with all the fisherman during work down, killing all that time
Glen Cowbell after Glen Cambell, Rhinestone Cowboy. Possible name for the bull.
Name suggestion...Vittorio Monti. (Italian violinist) It rhymes with oreo so as to not confuse Oreo ;)
I love the belted Galloway. I call them oreo cows. Drives my husband nuts who was raised on a dairy. Lol
Emmett, after guitar-god-and-high-pitched-singer, Rik Emmett.
Suzy Q, Sandwich, Woolly Bear, White Wall, Fat Boy, Brown Topper, Nougut, Black Cow, Charleston Chew, Nib, Mellow Middle, Smore.
Grasping ideas... Good luck.
I'll second the OREO Chuckwagon :D
Maybe Jerry Lee Moo-is. Goodness! Gracious! . . . or maybe not?
That kind of seller would get the right of first refusal if it ever comes to selling
TchaiCOWsky?
This came the day after I sold my last cow and calf so we can make a cross country move. I felt it very deeply when you said it was sad to see the owner say goodbye.

Thx for sharing!
Since he is a Scottish belted Galloway may I recommend naming him after a scottish singer... Moois Capaldi?
Name for new bull: Meat Loof(loaf, paradise by the dashboard lights)
Cowny Rogers. Because Kenny was the Gambler and sang about Lucille and the farm life.
I think Napoleon would be a really good name.
reminds me of a "good -n-plenty" thats a good name.
Leonard COWhen. Though I also like Ziggy Stardust. His middle looks like the Milky Way if you squint.
In honor or Roy Orbison, Name the cow "Ooobie Doobie!"
What are the pigs doing for the pond area?
Nice never had mooooove a cow
If you sat down and watched me backing up a trailer or a vehicle to a trailer, you could enjoy a few sandwiches', learn some new curse words and pick up a truck repair job.
😂😂Same here.
Hahahaha well stop by for a lesson sometime ;)
I dont have a creative name, just wanted to pop on here and wish you all a Happy New Year! I cant wait to see what 2024 holds for you.
Donna says "Vanilla Fudge".
Whole Note is black and white in the middle.
Curly hair and high pitched moo…Garfunkel!
Tom Jones? (not really a way to pun that one...). Micheal Mooble is very clever :D
Buy 2 cows, get 1 goat free. Valid marketing ploy, I think.
Rimsky-Cowsakov?
How about Andrea Moocelli? Veal Young?
Michael "Bullton" David "Bullie"
“Scotish Organ” I mean it’s perfect. Breader bull. 😂
This isn’t on topic of moving cows but where do you guy your clothes? I love your shirts and would love to own similar hoodies.
Reo speedwagon so it's close to oreo
The opening cow kinda said “Nevermind, I’ll let myself out”….
Michael Bullton
Mooerle Haggard :)
Cab Cowloway! Kenny Cheeseny! Randy Travesty! (j/k) Being a Scots cow, possibly Old MacDonald! Johnny Cash Cow! Keith Not-Urban!
Hammish! 😊
Instead of Oreo he looks more like a Double Stuff to me ;)
Okay musically he reminds me of “
Milli Vanilli”
