I wasn't the biggest comic book fan as a kid overall, but I loved X-Men cartoons, comics and the live action movies. This is Disney and that makes me nervous with what I have seen them do with other franchises but I hope it's great.

I will watch a least a few episodes but it can't just live off nostalgia and hopefully they won't try to Gen-Z it up with the messaging. We will see and I hope it really respects what the past did.
Goddamn....I love how DBZ sparking Zero and Xmen announced their return in the same way.
The way they use those classic fat TV screens we all grew up watching stuff on with glimpses of Footage of the classic footage before switching to the new stuff to come.

I had the same feelings about Wolverine after rewatching it lol. He never used his claws at all which I thought was a little funny. Still like the character in the show.

Wolverine does not give piggyback rides. That's out of character for him but no big deal.
He let's Colossus swing him around and throw him. That seems more silly to me.
The Cyclops in this trailer really sound and look like a leader. The movies treat him like trash.

This is awesome. I mean your reaction, not the trailer.
I want to get behind this thing and I'll watch it with an open mind, but this is still Disney and I really have no trust in them. I get it, X-Men always did social commentary, but will they go overboard and get preachy with it. I don't know and I'm not going to get mad but I will stop watching it pretty fast if it feels like it's going down that road.
The fact that they delayed the show for like a year, put merchandise on the shelves more than half a year ago without a trailer and didn't show Sunspot in the trailer speaks volumes. It says, "Lets sell as much plastic as we can before people find out that this show sucks".
@@synical13 or maybe because you guys been complaining about there being too much marvel content that they should delay or space them out more between new projects, now u are complaining that nearly a year between merchandise and trailer is indicative of poor quality lol. So called fans are never satisfied lol
Howdy Conner and Adam... Im 43 and grew up with the original series... Sad to say Wolverine wont be doing much claw action in this series either.. the claws are too OP. They kill anything they touch. So unless they fight Sentinels again Wolvy will be the punching bag again. Not the killing machine we all want lol..
Two things i hated in the trailer was Cyclops say "my Xmen" nah nah thats the professors line. I actually felt negative towards Scotty when he said that..
And Wolverines voice actor is not the guy. Hes gotta go
I like quite a few things, gambit charging wolverines claws was an amazing idea... Bishop is a great character with cool powers, skills and backstory... Hes got a cool sister as well who could make an appearance...
Ive seen a few comic series where Magneto takes control of the X-Men for one reason or another so thats no shock to me. Im interested to see that played out in cartoon form this time around ..
Jubilee is a good character, gotta hard disagree there with Conner...Her and Wolverine become great friends and shes really good for him in general. Especially when Wolvy losses his Adamantium. Granted shes doesnt have the best backstory because shes so young but thats an error on the writers fault by not doing anything with her for years lol...
Disney, hmmm.... I wonder if after episode 2 or 3, Cyclops dies, Wolverine will leave the team and will have a separate adventure, then either Mystique or Emma Frost will step in as a new Team Leader, co-leading with Storm. I won't be surprise it that happens, lol.
it's cyclops and storm that will co-lead this team as did their comic counterparts. Storm did afterall defated cyclops without her powers for leadership
Let's see: chips show getting a reboot to most likely capitalize on the 40 year old + market. We'll say it's a reasonable success with a lot of adult complaining.
Wolverine
I'm looking forward to it, but I don't think the animation looks very good. Something's off about it, like a flash cartoon.

They have wolverine chewing on a toothpick, not a cigar. guess this the more california health conscious healing factor mutant. can't wait to hear the messaging they push. wanna bet this focuses on jubilee as our POV character?
I'll try it but this is Disney at the end of the day, and I'm also concerned with some things like will they get heavy handed. I want to love it and I'll give it a fair shot, but I'm also prepared to quit watching it if they get weird with it.

Western 2d animation is really weak right now. Only Netflix doing something with it. So I am surprised it even have this quality
You are trailer guy now. I saw this trailer. It looked good, but I was never a mega fan of the old cartoon. It was pretty good, but I liked Spider-Man better. Still X-Men are cool. I will give it a see. I like that you son gave it a see as well b/c I suppose target audience is youths. Hysterical that daughter had zero interest. Lol.
