"there'll be hits and there'll be misses," - surely not, I thought the PRCs did all the shooting for you so it's impossible to miss! All jest aside, another excellent video Chris, good shooting!
interesting observations at 31:08, maybe just due to design, the other one like it that comes to mind is the skeet rifles (Olympic competition) from Anschutz; they have that pull/push action, most others use a rotating bolt design, perhaps a bit more reliable, when you want accuracy not speed.
@@charlesstenberg8806 because you know better I'm sure😉 I presume you have shot all straight pull rifles and are familiar with the fundamental operating differences both mechanical and ergonomic? I have only used MULTIPLE Blaser R8/ R93, Merkel Helix, Browning Maral, (T-bolts too), Beretta Brx and a few others others that were obviously less memorable😉

Excellent! Another honest evaluation with no bs. Pity you didn't have a punkah wallah to clear the haze.
Great video Chris. Real field shooting. Very impressive rifle. Thanks.
If you get to Texas Chris you should try Brandon's Texas Plinking 1 MOA @ 1000y chsllange
I loved this video, looks like such a fun time. Thank you!

Hello Chris Parkin! What bipod did you use on the rifle ?😊
Chris after your experience with the straight pull being a bit glitchy, would you go for the traditional bolt action if you had to choose?
Yes

Is that a 3 cartridge mag with the Savage?
Yes
@@chrisparkin431 Thanks. I thought they only came with 2 cartridge mags. Or maybe you can just get 3 into 2?
@@timjude watch the video, 3 fit
@chrisparkin431 it went for over an hour so I must have missed that bit. But thanks for confirming.

You're not running the bolt like a straight pull, you're muscle memory is running it like a standard bolt
