I have to agree with Ornella on this one. When you are younger like 18 your expectation as a young woman is that a guy needs to claim you right away etc but as you get older things in life aren't as black and white. I'm 20 almost 21 and I've realised that I may not even properly like the guy and from experience realise that I need to be 100% sure. I have given the illusion that I'm talking to multiple people as well although that's not what I was doing but as you get older you have more requirements from a person. I have more requirements now than I did when I was 18 and that was only 3 years ago. Good topic ladies

Personally It's better not to assume ladies, but I would still want that question "are we dating"? to come from the guy after 1month or so. That way there is clarity & assurance that feelings are mutual. When my husband & I announced our engagement, another lady was clearly upset & shouted "I thought we had an understanding" at him. Well, apparently she was volunteering & offering him free driving lessons, and hoped he would become her husband one day just from that goodwill. Now guys & gentlemen, be also mindful of when that lady invites you to her family home to eat jollof rice & curried goat, she might be actually hinting or telling u something. So yes the question "Are we dating"? Is a definite must to avoid any confusion.

I really like Ornella opinion. Shes well put together , confident, sounds independent & knows her self and it shows by her appearance. You need to know yourself first , most women are quick to want a relationship or to except a relationship then marry an are unhappy an with the wrong person . When you are fully aware of your likes and dislikes and who you are you will respect the space of another person and in that you’ll build an unbreakable relationship because Friendship & respect has been built !!

But when i text her it be ending quick with her leaving me on read or her not answering. but when were in person the energy is great and amazing. So when do i ask her for a third date? Should the not so much communication when were not together bother me??
From my experience, texting kills/ruins everything.. Just use texting to meet up. You can have a conversation over text but only if it's interesting, and keep it short.
I dated a guy for 7 months and he said we didn’t know each other well enough to make it official. And because I said my short term goal was to have a family and possibly have another baby since I am 42 years old with a 19 year old daughter I knew going into that relationship exactly what I wanted in my future. And he said I was just to much for him!! But if he knew that not sure why he kept trying to drag the relationship on and on before I cut him off. Like why keep trying to date me if you know that’s not what you want? Just a waste of time. But I agree after 3 to 4 months you should know what you kinda want so I agree with the ladies!!
