You guys are so awsome..you make my day!!! I have had 5 surgerys in the last year and a half and just had another one..i watch your clios all day..thank you for making my day better!!
Up here in BC we hunt in Griz country all the time....you never get used to it. Hiking in thick timber and hearing a snap in the distance will get your heart going no matter who you are!
Amen! I've never hunted (wanted to) but I did spend a lot of time in the forests/woods. I'm not out in the woods anymore since I had a spine/cord several years ago now, but like I said, I used to do a lot of camping in nature vs campgrounds and on hiking trips in BC and parts of Alberta. I always had bear spray and other 'deterrents' at the ready as well as just being smart about things like food storage, garbage, etc. You are so right - every stick crack makes you look and your heart starts racing. I would say that anyone who denies being afraid of a bear encounter has never seen one outside the safety of a zoo. The scariest encounter I had with an animal was actually a possum. Little bugger got into my tent with me one night and I crawled over me. I woke up screaming and wound up beating the little varmint with a branch I had in my tent with me. I always took one into my tent with me to use if I had to venture out on one of those mid-night pees. A girl can never be too careful! Never thought I'd need it IN my tent!
Love Ty! I'm new to this channel, so will totally be going back to the older vids to see some hunts that he was in. He was such a great guy to have on this part of the series. Not only is a solid hunter and bugler, he's got the best laugh. Ya can't help but smile when you hear him laugh.
New word: “Tremmensely” : adverb, to do something immensely tremendous ; Trent circa 30:31 Love it! Catch myself making up new words all the time and I for one think tremmensely should be added to Webster’s! Love this show gents!
Thanks for putting all this together. I cant wait to have Ryan & Noel back home thanks for the shout out. We talk about your videos and laugh they bring back a lot of memories of our hunts. Keep it real we love the videos. One more thing think twice before you give a Bull a crayon to paint your face in the woods. Your lucky Dirk's got some skills in the art department never know what the revile will be.
You know I got into you guys from the Hushin crew. But I love your show and really appreciate the love for your wife's! My anniversary is Dec 3rd and flowers will be sent as well. Gotta definitely show the appreciation to the ones you love. Keep up the great work, and good luck hunting.
Casey seems to be a little bearphobic, I love that guy, he keeps me in stitches. If I was on this hunt I couldn't stop myself from having a little bear fun with Casey. The Hushin guys are awesome, so glad you guys hang with B Mac and Casey. Your hunts are awesome, please keep bringing it to the flat screen

You guys are an awesome group to watch my daughter loves watching with me! You have inspired to go out to try archery this next year thank you so much for your inspiration!!
Last day B MAC! You got this man ! That shot you took that was a little tight to the tree would have been money ! Love what you guys are doing! My brother and I are planning our trip for next year . Thanks for everything and goodluck boys !!!

Don't worry about the bears, I hunt less than 1 mile from the Yellowstone border sometimes. Just don't do dumb things and you will be OK! Some times those bears are following cow elk and you end up eye to eye at 30 yards with a grizzly, at half draw thinking its another elk coming! Remember if its your time its your time, at least you will go down with your boots on!
I would definitely go where the Elk are no matter how many bears are there you carry a sidearm bear spray pay attention and don't run. More singing from Trevor and definitely more hunting with Ty, Casey and all the Hush guys !
I feel your pain on the bear situation. My family has had an elk camp here in Wyoming since before I was born and it’s in a place actually called bear basin. We deal with Grizzlys almost on a daily basis. It definitely affects your ability to focus on elk.
You tricked me I thought I was going to see some hunt action LOL honestly that was the most real life hunting experience because you never know what the next day is going to bring you may wake up in the mountains packing your bag and then go to bed at a bed-and-breakfast haha never know I can't wait till tomorrow guys
Trevor , the wife says “ is the dentist drinking a soda”? 😮😁 also Nike shoes that was my sighting. We love watching the land of the free. The wife even wants to look at getting out chasing something together this next year. Keep at it brothers. I would love a shout out to my best friend and wife Connie.
I live in Oregon now but grew up in Kodiak, Alaska, where the bears are HUGE and everywhere. I've had my fair share of run ins with them. Casey- I'm with you on the bear thing. The guide who was killed here in Wyoming was a friend of mine. I shot my bull right at dark and quartering by firelight was a real adventure. Head on a swivel and every sound I was sure the griz was coming in.
Andy Heffron I was in Montana actually going to help field dress my friend's elk when I heard the story about the guide who was mauled. Very sad. Prayers.

Not to say all out of staters behave that way, but it's not a great way to approach the hunt. When I was 21, I didn't think much of hiking all over Yellowstone, and had numerous encounters with grizzlies both inside and outside the park. You're elk hunters go where the elk are. Simply, there will always be obstacles that you have to overcome when you go hunting. Be smart. Be safe. Have fun.
I hunt in Grizzly country here in Alberta. With no hunts for them they are top of the food chain and they know it. Ran into a sow and cubs while sheep hunting this year. She was not afraid of us and is using the proximity to humans to raise her cubs and protect them from boars. Population here is exploding and more than a few hunters each year give up their sheep or elk to them. We have also conditioned them to come to gunfire as it means an easy meal. Oh and we’re not allowed sidearms while bow hunting here.

As a Montana resident and hunter I carry a pistol during archery and rifle.
Personally!
I'm going to head to where the elk are most likely at!!! Be prepared and charge forward fellas!
I really like to fly fish....Casey I’m with you.
Go get the elk in the high elk zone just watch your back!
Taking the necessary precautions and the experience on the team I would go with option 1! Be safe and have FUN! :)
I’v Lived and hunted here in Montana for 50 years now, never have I had a bad encounter with Griz. I say go and do what you do, hunt enjoy, and keep your 10 mm and bair spray available.
Enjoy,
Hell with the bears, more elk
