Would love one day to see a powder hoody that has a rough material integrated on the shoulders like those old school military sweaters for the purpose of having a little bit more friction on the straps of your pack and so a little less wear and tear on the shoulder area.
Gritty dude these things are never going to be in stock now.. it’s bad enough already but after this forget about it… luckily I got one for Xmas this year 🤙🏽.. keep it rocking man!!!
Love my powder hoodie so does the girlfriend and we have 3 pairs of their socks. Love them. Thanks for doing this podcast. Duckworth needs some exposure let’s help them. LETS GO
Duckworth's Merino wool products are a welcome improvement. Everyone in my family wore Woolrich or Filson Mackinaw jackets and wool pants while hunting or logging for generations. My introduction to Merino wool was wearing Darn Tough socks. It wears like iron and is extremely comfortable. These products are definitely worth the investment.
Big fan of Duckworth. Have powder hoodie in two colors and wear them constantly here in White Mtns of NH. Just ordered the Woolcloud jacket as well. Great episode.
Cool podcast, I have been buying there stuff for years and have had the powder hoody’s for quite some time, daily use, working outside in Alberta in the winter and hunting in -40s and nothing beats them. Powder hoody’s under a down jacket good to go no matter how cold. Awesome to see the reasoning and content on why their stuff is so good.
I'm glad wool continues to earn respect going into the future. I'm Gen X, my grandma knitted wool back in the day. Many companies have come and gone with wool offerings, and I'm still collecting wool gear. Don't STOP!
I’ve got a Joseph A Bank merino sweater that I’ve worn for 10 seasons at least. It lived a life as a dress piece for a few years before that. I have considered having to replace it. The powder hoody may be the solution.
Curious to see what you think of the woolcloud. I owned one and returned it because i thought the face fabric would be too noisy for bow hunting compared to the kuiu kenai
Even the powder hoodie is 50% wool, 20% poly and 30% acrylic. The Duckworth guy briefly mentioned they use blends. 100% wool doesn't hold up very well.
For real It is not to good to be true. I wear the powder hoody’s on there own in the warmer seasons and in winter I wear this piece in Alberta in -20s to -40s with a merino wool long sleeve underneath and a down jacket on top
@@desertrat4532 I wear wool socks, but most of my upper body wear has mostly been synthetic dry wicking clothing layers underneath outer shell. I’m gonna switch
Best present I got this year was a Powder Hoody!
Im glad you guys are talking about duckworth they need the exposure. Hunters really need to check there line out it will not disappoint

Cool gear. How about some plaids?
I'll give some Duckworth items a try , I've been a fan of wool & silk garments for decades.
Maybe Duckworth can expand into silk garments.
Brian what color hoodie did u where on your elk hunt? Spruce or dark olive?
I was wearing the Spruce.
Awsome thanks !
Dang it guys, I'm going to need a second job if I keep listening to you guys LOL. Brad, I got a nice white tail this year!

Brian sure kept budding into what the Duckworth guy was saying!
👍
Let Mike Speak
Gritty blew this company up. I told my wife I wanted their spruce color hoodie for Xmas and they sold out. Ugh 😩
Sounds too good to be true, but I can’t wait to get mine. I really like and trust your real life use reviews.
You've never worn wool?
@@desertrat4532 Very little, mostly wool socks. Mostly dry wicking synthetics for upper clothing.
