    Beautiful fish I am thinking about raising puffers

      Thank you so much! Puffers are amazing fish to raise-they have such unique personalities! If you're thinking about getting into puffers, just remember they need some special care, especially when it comes to their diet and water conditions. For example, my Fahaka Puffer thrives in a spacious tank with a varied diet of snails and shrimp, and I make sure to keep the water clean and slightly brackish for my smaller puffers like the Green Spotted ones. It’s really rewarding, so if you decide to go for it, you'll love watching them grow! Feel free to ask any questions, I’m happy to help!

      @@TheTurtlelover4 yes and they multiply quickly, which keeps my Fahaka extremely busy. They work out though.

    Anyone reading this they grow huge you will need a 125-150gallon aquarium,a 150gallon is perfect,and if you want tank mates put them in early and watch closely like the gentleman said they are aggressive

      Hey, thanks for sharing that! You're spot on about the tank size-125-150 gallons really is the sweet spot for a fahaka puffer. They can grow pretty big, and it’s important to give them the space they need. I love your tip about adding tank mates early and keeping a close eye on things. Their aggression can catch you off guard! Anyone else have experiences or tips to share? Always great to hear from the community!

    I saw one all by himself in a 55 gallon tank but I thought they needed bigger tanks?

      @@kathleentorheim2108 that is a lot of space for such a little creature. And I’m sure he loves it but ultimately they don’t need much space just a lot of greenery. Are you thinking of getting one?

    Nice video. I have a question for you. I have a 125-130 gallon tank with a sump filter. However it is a shallow tank. 14" tall 30" wide and 6 feet long. Do you think I could get away putting a Fahaka in there ? or would it be to shallow?

      Thanks for watching and for your comment. Your tank’s length and width are great for a Fahaka puffer, but 14 inches in height might be too shallow. Fahakas can grow up to 18 inches, so a taller tank-around 20 inches or more-would be ideal for their comfort. Consider a taller tank or be ready to upgrade as your puffer grows. Let me know if you have any other questions, would love to help!

      Your wide tank will be fine.

    Are you breeding snails?im gonna try to lol tired of buying them

      @GrowingUpFish  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Haha, I hear you! It can get expensive buying snails all the time. Breeding them can definitely save some money and give your puffer a steady food source. If you do decide to try it out, just make sure to set up a little breeding tank and keep the water conditions right. It can be a fun project! Are there specific types of snails you're thinking about breeding?
