Great comparison! Can you do a video or videos talking about the differences between Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, and La Quinta? Guessing PD and RM are pretty similar? Indian Wells more expensive and La Quinta a bit more remote?
Hi Marjorie, thank you so much! Definitely I will look into making some more. Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage definitely have their differences but are similar as well. Indian Wells overall is more high end and exclusive then elsewhere in the valley. La Quinta has more young families and also great golf. I’ll try to make more on all these areas. Good info Tommy. Quick question for you living in PD. Do you find that you don’t go into PS very often? Also, is it kind of an inconvenience to visit friends living in PS? I’m asking in case I decide to maybe move closer toward the Indian Wells area someday (I love the mountains and greenery down there). 😁
Hey Marc!! Thank you for watching. Honestly we like going into Palm Springs because it feels like going to the city LOL. They have so many fun restaurants and the vibe I s just so different than Palm Desert that it makes a fun outing. Also the drive is pretty going along Highway 111 to get there. It’s an inconvenience if you’re going to Palm Springs like every day but if it’s every now and then it’s actually quite nice. Indian Wells has the best scenery with the mountains and Palm Trees. Hope you’re well 😃

Do you know desert hot springs resort? I stayed with a friend who has a mobile home there, but she lives in Ontario - I loved the natural springs pools - I never knew palm desert was a town and had stores because we just visited Palm Springs thanks for the video - what about the heat with global warming and the water crisis?
Yes I’ve heard of that resort! Coachella Valley Water District says that we have a ton of water in reserves so it shouldn’t be an issue! Thank you for watching!
How does healthcare, minor and major compare?
I want to move to California but the cost of living is outrageous,the water shortages & the gun laws are ridiculous. Plus I don’t want my mountain bike tires being pierced by thorns 😱
