That gave me a laugh but it’s no harm to re-familiarise yourself with the basic of pre-check, every day is a school day. PSI inside door frame on a label.
Thanks a mill guys to put this video on youtube... I really needed it 🙂 me too would have forgot to press that button and wondered what the hell is happening 🤣🤣
Oh god your mate gave me such a laugh....the sheer honesty of him and that laugh!! My Golf 2.0 is 36 PSI. My last 2 front tyres the garage had set them to 30 and I only got 15,000km out of them cuz they started wearing on the outside. Now I always check and reset them even after getting 2 new tyres. Can't trust garages or tyre places to even leave you right. Another tip for your mate, his coolant header tank more than likely has a pink silica bag. Get his local indie garage to order a new header tank or remove the bag. VW Ireland and globally know this is a huge huge problem. It blocks the heater matrix and needs a coolant flush, guts of €1000. Just an FYI to other golf owners.
😂😂see now!!! That gave me confidence, I never need to and today I have to... thanks for that. *UPDATE* I got fuel and when paying asked the 4 ladies there including the one behind the counter (no men in the queue) and NONE had ever used one before and didn't know how. I went ahead and drove up to the machine and got out to read the instructions including payment..... it was a vacuum and perfume!!! So I drove to the next one and very easily put pressure in my tyres for 50p, paid with my card 😆
I laughed my legs off at this. It reminded me of a chap who I used to work with who didn't know how to change a wheel and would happily have called his breakdown service to do so which is fair enough as that's part of what they'll do for you but my reasoning to him was " you do realise that by the time your breakdown service makes it to you you could have the wheel changed yourself and he was like "so?" I just shook my head in utter disbelief! I'm not mechanically minded at all but I can do the basics like check the oil and fluid levels in the engine, plus the air in the tyres and change a wheel.
Very good 😂👍👍. PSI should be on the tyre wall also. Helped a friend like this a few years back. Told her 3 of her tyres were gone and 4th wheel bearings gone. She had clio. Told her car would kill her or someone else. Few weeks later she bought old golf.a few weeks after that mondeo hit her from behind on m50 at speed. her car had good tyres and nct. She walked away bruised. Help a friend if they're not sure.
Different cars will have different tyre pressures, and any particular car will need different tyre pressures depending on how heavily loaded the car is. So, putting the psi on the tyre is not gonna work. Virtually all VW group cars (VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, etc..) have the recommended tyre pressures label inside the fuel filler flap. Fuel is either “Petrol” or “Diesel” or “Electricity”! Have they not got basic mechanical questions in the driving test now? Not that that would help in this particular case!!! No wonder our women are pissed off with our men 😄! Jesus Harry !
Well I just came back from an utterly poor experience (despite having successfully inflated my tyres before) and this video looks like it's shown me what I did wrong 🙈 Back to the petrol station I go! Thanks!!
Tip for you reading this. Reverse car up to unit. Do all free stuff first. Open doors remove matts shake em out. Remove 4 dust caps off valves. Once happy set pressure to 32-36, read label on B pillar of fuel cap. Then drop in coin and select air pressure, level off all 4 tyres. Good pressure into tyre valve to seal it. Once its done and you have your 4 beeps. Press vacuum and do all 4 foot wells and matts outside on floor. If you’re good at it press sent, you will get smelly into car for 4 secs too. Do all free stuff first and don’t Fanny about.
I honestly thought you were kidding at first. No offence to your mate who was a good sport, but how can anyone who drives not know how to check their tyre pressure, oil, etc? The correct tyre pressure is basic road safety! I was taught how to do all of this by my driving instructor.
I promise, it’s not. The idea behind this started last weekend when he said he couldn’t put air in a tyre. I didn’t know about the oil until we got there! 😂
Finally I can feel superior to an Irishman in one way. I knew about the basic maintenance and operation of a motor vehicle before I was five. Granted motors are more complex today then the mid-sixties but this is pathetic. And good craic.
Holy God Almighty. This is absolutely unbelievable. Does he know how to use a knife and fork ? ... or does some unfortunate woman still have to feed him? 😆. His father has failed to introduce him to the basics. Christ, there’s no hope for us as a species. I really am sorry for being so critical ... but there’s a much bigger discussion indicated by this video, Nobby. Enough, before I say something we’ll all regret 🤦♂️❗️Happy Christmas everyone!
I have learned something today. Thanks guys because I couldn't put air in my mini tire 🤣🤣
Thanks so much for being such a good sport. Now I think I could actually put air in my tires😅
Thanks for this video. I literally searched how to put air in tire as I’m on my way to do it
Thank you.....this was very helpful...I've never put air in my tyres b4...Did for the first time today with the help of this video 😁
That gave me a laugh but it’s no harm to re-familiarise yourself with the basic of pre-check, every day is a school day. PSI inside door frame on a label.
I took the bit out where we checked - wasn’t on the inside of the door. Says to look at manual 🙄😂
Not all the time. Sometimes, it's by the fuel cap.

Nice tip Shane 👍🏻

So very many innuendos in this video! 😂😂

That’s a good idea re the wall actually

Best of luck 😜
You explain this to the man on your test. How does he not know for a young man.
"So there's different types of air?" God love you, baby. 😂

Remember crossy in the Dublin Taxi live on 104. I’m sure ye have it on youtube strawberry alarm clock.
Crossy’s like the Irish Ethan from Car Throttle 😂
Cheers for that
I can never get the pumps with those shitty nozzles to work properly I swear

😂😂😂😂😂 that vele of air.. you guys haven’t came across the simple word called “pressure”😅
The tyre pressure should be on a sticker on B Pillar or fuel flap. Since when do you just guess?
Not on the B pillar on this Golf anyway... it just said see manual.
Fair enough - keep up the good work, changing a tyre next?
How do you know how much air your supposed to put?
On the inside of the door pillar, or the manual.
Just had a thought if he is that bad with his own car what is the company one like 😂
Oh come on, this is a wind up right? 🤣🤣
I promise, it’s not. The idea behind this started last weekend when he said he couldn’t put air in a tyre. I didn’t know about the oil until we got there! 😂

Has this fella got a driver's licence or what
Ha ha yes! But sure he’s all good now. Unless he gets a puncture....
Bro looks 40 and is wearing ripped skinny jeans
Ireland?
I’m learner driver. Today my first time to fill diesel to my car. And I checked the tyre air pressure as shown in your video. Thanks.
Paying 2euro for air? Is that €2 for each tire or €2 for all 4? Either way that's a scam
Normally €2 for 10 mins
Thank you. It's still a lot though 😞
@@cnvdh3514 Yep! Also an option for €1 for 5 mins, usually what I do and run around as quickly as I can 😅
that shocked me! it's usually either £0.20 or £0.50 in rip off London
@@MaxKrawiec Here in South Africa its free so just paying for it in general is weird to me:)
You let Dougal inflate a tyre?
🤣🤣🤣
#crossythedipstick

Is there different types of air? 🤦♂️
😂👏🏻
Didn't really instruct
