  • Video of the two beaches at Moelfre on the Isle of Anglesey. The Anglesey Coastal Path runs between these two beaches and in the middle you have the Moelfre Lifeboat Station.
After the new Lifeboat station on the way towards the village, you will pass an old small stone building with a slipway in front of it, this is the original lifeboat station.
Moelfre is a beautiful coastal village on Anglesey which is steeped in Maritime history.
A section of the Anglesey Coastal Path travels through Moelfre, the coastal path heading north passes by two famous shipwrecks, the Royal Charter and the HIndlea. The Royal Charter sank in a ferocious storm in 1859, often referred to as the Royal Charter storm.
