While we’re at it we might even start mining water ice for hydrogen in space using the virtually unlimited energy radiating out from our sun. Space is the future. My hope is that rockets are like mainframe computers with large, inefficient cathode ray tubes and that someone will invent the “transistor of space” that totally revolutionizes the space transport industry. Imagine going from $12500/kg to $100/kg. I’m hopeful that we’ll get there.
