A long time ago now way back in 2016, our studio made a turned-based VR game called Quar: Battle for Gate 18.. kind of a niche market in VR, but something nice about playing this genre that way. I'll definitely give this one a shot.
This game is much longer then 40 hours. Its 40ish hours for one playthrough. You have 3 unique routes with completely different final thirds. Suprised you liked the English voice acting was it? I thought it was awful but Japense Voice acting was good
I am playing this but how come when i play it, it doesnt look as good as in this video? I can only explain it as it looks grainy, its not very HD quality. Is it probably my MQ3 settings or something?
Someone else said this earlier. It looked great for me on Meta Quest 3. If you have access to Quest Games Optimiser you can increase the resolution by 40/50%
How's the visuals? Is it sharp and clear? Are there any issues with performance or reprojection? Hows the controls? Any clunkiness with the UI? How's the MR mode? Can you save during combat?
Artstyle aside it's a game with pixelated visuals and text, i'm a bit biased because i usually use my quest 3 for pcvr but i believe the game would benefit from an optional slight crt filter effect to make the resolution easier on the eyes but thats a nitpick, framerate is smooth and the UI feels intuitive. MR mode is okay but i'm not a big fan of it in general, stylized graphics next to real life was always a bit jarring and immersion breaking for me. But once you're in the story you kinda forget the medium you're playing this on either way in no way is this a diminishing experience. But you also have to consider that this game is half the price that it is on switch and PC, I really love the game but theres no way in hell im paying 60 dollars for it. Very fun and probably gonna last me a long time. Good chill, sat down relaxed content is way too rare in VR and this one is portable.
