Truth is the rolling shell for the E-Moke is actually a Chinese copy of the originally English Moke. The drive components are put together and installed in the USA.
Technically, it's a 'glider' until the power train is installed. Looks like this is licensed as a NEV, is that correct?
Morgan looks timeless. The Vanderhall (or van der Hall in the right grammar spelled) looks like a refrigerator on wheels.

Yep, It was the Morris Mini Moke, then Austin. They've been made in Britain, Spain and Australia.
Put the Morgan against a Ural and sidecar.
@@doubletee5250 Mokes were not made in Spain, you are probably thinking of Portugal, where the Mokes were built from 1982 to 1992. Production in England was from 1962 to 1968, and in Australia from 1966 to 1982 when production then moved to Portugal.

Moke was designed in uk based on British mini from 60s I.e BMC mini moke was originally developed for army use then made as passenger car so mokes not entirely American this is just a reproduction of the original but i love both cars
the Morgan wasn't designed to go head to head with anything else it's apples and oranges

Who would buy this thing? Who would pay that kind of money for it? I'm betting it doesn't happen.
Looking at this from a engineer point of view, the Morgan 3 wheeler is better hands down. Yes it's more dangerous, and it may not have room like the moke. But it has something that makes it far better, the ability to drive distances further than 40 - 45 miles. People Don't Buy a Morgan for the "city" drive, it was designed for fun, not bumper to bumper New York traffic. Plus newer Morgans are a bit better than old ones. Then there is another huge problem that nobody talks about with electric vechiles, yes it my take a bit longer to break down, but when they do they Break Down and it's usually very expensive. Yes for it's area that it is apost to be used for it is great for about a year. LoL. But I definitely wouldn't spend even 1,000$ on it, it's just not worth it. Plus the Morgan can be passed down, with original everything, but the moke would probably need new batteries....now if they was to make it a little faster, better tires, use a hydrogen system instead of an electric (oh fun fact the electric is Not, I Repeat Not safer for the environment, do the research even the process of recycling the batteries is harmful to the environment) while a completely hydrogen (H2O) powered engine would be because it would only produce water vaper, could easily be worked on, recycled in a reuseable manner, be truly eco friendly, and expand the range to that or more than that of a modern car.
To be honest I actually really like the look of the moke, I wish they'd use their heads and make it better. Otherwise I'll buy an old Jeep and rig a eco friendly system in it but no eco friendly that car, and all electric cars are not it's just passing off one world destroying device for another.
The Moke is an obvious copy of the Mini Moke, also a British car.

@@johnschultz4955 Not these "Moke America/Moke International" vehicles in the U.S. Gas engined versions are available in other countries, though. There are "proper" Mokes built in England, Australia, and Portugal (1963-1992) that have been imported to the US and have the A-Series British motor and are freeway legal.

Your Moke may be manufactured in America, but it originated in the U.K. So, 2 - 0 to the U.K. for producing original designs, I think ;-)
Oh, btw, 'electric cars are so environmentally friendly' ... until you see what goes into producing the batteries & how to dispose of them. So, not as clear-cut as most people espouse ... arguments for both types of vehicle ... neither are outright winners.
