Haha! It's funny, as a movie, I don't really like Alice in Wonderland, but I love some of the quotes and some of the characters. My favorite Disney cartoon is a toss up between 101 Dalmatians and Lion King :)
not sure if you have ever mentioned where you purchased the magnets from but i would live to know the size and store you got them from...please and tfs
Absolutely! I actually bought mine off of amazon (or maybe eBay...I don't remember for sure) but I don't have that exact link. Here's a link to a website that lists all the details of the magnets, size and style that you can then cope and paste into amazon if that's easier ~ www.rare-earth-magnets.com/magcraft-nsn0591
I bought my magnets from either Amazon or eBay, but you can find all the sizing info from this link www.rare-earth-magnets.com/magcraft-nsn0591 They would be more expensive from that company directly but at least you know what you are looking for :)
Love this one! :-). I have no idea if this would work for you, but I am a firm believer in using nail foil glue for many things other than gluing foil. Have you tried putting some foil glue onto an orange stick, picking up the magnet with the orange stick, and then placing the magnet into the glue? Foil glue releases easily, and for someone as glue challenged as you are, this might work? I have never used it with magnets, so I have no idea if it would work for the second one, but pretty sure it would work for the first. :-)
It might....hmmm. I may have to try that. Getting that second magnet in place is always a challenge! I usually use a bit of poster putty on the back of a brush to pick of rhinestones and the like. I don't know if foil glue would be easier.
Foil glue is great for temporarily placing larger rhinestones and nail jewels because it lets you rearrange without having them wander all over the work area, floor, inside shoes, or walk out with Sunshine... (I have my own talents, especially losing something without even moving.). Nail glue can be lightly dribbled behind whatever the foil glue is holding by just barely raising the jewel, etc, with a dab of poster putty or a wax stick like I use. Look Ma, no more glued fingers.... smiles!!
Hey sweetie, when you have a moment can you send me a link for that detail brush again? I know you got it at born pretty, but I think they sell it on Amazon too. Just wanna be sure I get the right one this time. All of my detail brushes are arguing with me lately, lol. Thanks
Sorry it took me so long! I've been without wifi (AND I am out of Data on my phone....oh modern problems). Here's a link to the brush ~ www.bornprettystore.com/nail-liner-brush-transparent-crystal-handled-nail-drawing-liner-brush-tools-p-18519.html I feel like finding a good brush can be one of the biggest hurdles in nail art. A good brush can make all the difference.
Just awesome. I never realised how much I liked Alice in Wonderland until you did this series.
