@BillionBeri Apparently they are gonna adapt 3 chapters per episode so at best we are gonna get 349 episodes (until post wano/egghead) already) but if I were them just adapt 2.5 eps per chapter equal to 450 eps I think thats the best option. also I heard its 30 eps per season.
3 chapters per episode does feel a bit break neck, so I agree 2.5 might be a better sweet spot. Now I wish they were going to take the original voice work and animate around it to give it that "definitive edition" feel.
We are too! Tasha noticed that Full Body looked like he had been through it in the concept art. I can't wait to see this story with elevated grittiness.
It's pretty metal for sure! I hope WIT Studios knocks it out of the spark and creates a new generation of fans dedicated to our Captain and Pirate King, Monkey D. Luffy 😁
Very true, we'll see how strict it is. I've figured out the set of conditions to allow us to react to the current anime without needing a bunch of blurring or overlays half the time, so hopefully I can apply that to this situation as well. This First Look video did get soft flagged (they claimed it, but allow its use) but I left pretty large uncut sections in this one, so that likely explains it.
Yeah, may have to get creative :) I try to be respectful of the work and try to make our reactions NOT a replacement for the episode by heavily slicing and dicing it, Zoro style, and then having us talk about it for typically 60-70% of the video's total length, but fair use is so vague, it's tough.
This work makes me nervous. I’m confident it’ll pull in new One Piece fans who are daunted by the length of the anime, but for us hardcore fans a bunch of our Favorite scenes will definitely get cut back. Each episode is apparently gonna be around 25 episode PER ARC! For example Whole Cake is like 100+ episodes down to 25?!? 😳 idk it’s gonna come down to voice acting for me. I trust animation will be top tier. And Netflix is great for reaching new fans. So let’s see what “The One Piece” has to offer! I’m here for anything and everything One Piece 🤙🏽
We feel less nervous about this than we did about the live action, but yeah, the voice acting has the hardest task here. All the talent in the world won't mean much if we reject it at a subconscious level. Tasha seems to think that 25 episode per arc thing was a fan crafted theory. Not 100% on that, but that was her thought when I read your comment.
"Favorite scenes" are most likely in the manga as well, and compression doesn't mean cutting scenes. Jojo's anime squeezed over 700 chapters into 190 episodes and nothing was cut from the manga. Theoretically, One Piece could have around 350 episodes at this point.
In any case, 1000 episodes can't be justified in any way. Two chapters per episode is the minimum. The "Monster" manga has no fight scenes and all pages are filled with dialogue, but the anime has a pace of two chapters per episode.

I'm actually kind of excited about this project.
They will remove cencosed stuff in anime, it will be like in manga, SO EXCITED!

One piece is getting a remake while One piece is still going weekly, HOW PEAK IS THAT?!

Hopefully you react to it when it comes out abd they don't bother you with copyright strikes 😅

@@BillionBeri yea you need to be careful not only of wit studios but of Netflix as well

The length of the remake was not revealed yet
@@JohnCena-ex6zt it will be seasonal so it's safe to assume it will have 1 or 2 cour per season which is around 13-25/26 episodes
