whew. You guys nailed it. I have been researching Barndominiums for years, and recently put my house up for sale with the intentions of having one built on a new property. You answered my concerns in this video as I have seen tons of horror stories from new owners who had very bad install issues with unvetted installers. You guys sending one of your men out to supervise is unprecedented and amazingly good. I'm in Georgia though so i hope you can manage to find quality builders to work for you. Good labor seems to be in very short supply here. Also, the under 100K mark is right around my market. It's just me, retired, so only looking to get a 50x80ish size.
The concrete slab is an extra cost. At $8-$10 sq/ft conservatively for a 50'x80' concrete slab, not including if you added porches or driveway/parking aprons would be $32,000-$40,000 just for the concrete slab.
Yeah I figured that the cost of the building then double it to add concrete. And I can't go cheap on the concrete as I will have lifts and forklifts in it.@@WaltWW
Would love to see these packages available in Massachusetts, looking to purchase land and build a barndo, hardest part is the contractor willing to do the project

We are interested in a barndo build as well. We live in James City County Va just north of Williamsburg. Are there trustworthy, licensed contractors in Va to build barndos?
@@andyhudson6299: My husband and I live in NC and just bought property in VA it’s near the NC border so we thought we were going to use a NC barndo builder but they aren’t licensed for VA so we are on the search now. Not all VA builders go everywhere in VA so it can be a challenge. We may go with 1845 depending on the cost. Good luck with your search.
