Thank you for realy showing us the different avaleble models, prices, and uses, like this for home practis, this for rehersals and small gigs. Now I know exactly what will sute me.
He is wrong in the description of a class D power amp and what makes it different.
The main difference (and why they are so light now) is that the power supply is a switching power supply that uses switching transistors and other smaller components, so that it does not have to use a big heavy transformer and use alot of room, as in the older circuits.
Yeah, tube circuit by itself is very light too. Very common misconception.
I only play electric guitar but i own many amps and i find that solid state amps produce more bass than my valve amps. But the valves seem to produce more treble. I dont know if this is the same with bass guitar amps?
More clean examples please!
