I think they’re good if you only want one bike, I went from an analog hardtail to a trek fuel exe it just opened up everything for me really length of rides doubled, skill level from getting to ride more no brainer really, less pressure on my knee issues, you’ll get more out of an SL if you’re a lighter rider too.
Great review. Just bought one to upgrade from my Santa Cruz 5010c which is getting on a bit now (like me). No regrets whatsoever and agree with everything you said. Great riding BTW! 😊
My usual route on an e-bike is 60 km and 1500m elevation gain. Through 2 mountains and 2 bike parks. Will the battery of this bike last me? Thanks in advance
If you use the power modes efficiently yes. I own this bike and it's one of the best bikes I've ever had but you lose out on power to get the weight down and pedal and maneuver like an analog bike, as is with all SLs. That isn't to say you can't get the same distance on one though.. You just can't plow through everything on turbo the entire ride. I mostly run it in the trail mode, turbo for really steep short stuff.. and I always have battery after a ride.
🤦🏾♂️😅 Mate I didn't even realise it was an Ebike until you said "now let's turn the motor on" 😂🤦🏾♂️ Class vid 🤘🏽

@@markroberts7866 Yeah they’re definitely all rounders, it’s surprising how long the battery lasts too
