That's an epic ride, well done mate.👊 I live in Bournemouth and I really would like to ride this trails. Could you share this track or tell me where's the start point? Please🙏
Brilliant video again mate
Thanks Gavin👍
What an icon.
Thanks😂
see you in 12 days 😈😈😈
😁😁😁😁
Nice to see you muppets ruining the chase
13:24 .. wheres this new bit of Green Spade ...
Why don’t you stick to the proper bike tracks you fuckers spoil the chase paths
Why don’t you stay on the routes made for you you lot just spoil the rest off the chase for others so fuck off
🤦🏾♂️😅 Mate I didn't even realise it was an Ebike until you said "now let's turn the motor on" 😂🤦🏾♂️ Class vid 🤘🏽
Man, look how fresh all blue spades was here, its absolutely battered now :(
Really? Ive never been thinking of going tho but if their trashed is their point?
I’d appreciate if you wouldn’t vlog the trails 🙈 especially telling everybody where they are! Not cool mate
Lad anyone who rides local knows Dimmo, a youtuber with 800 subs isnt gonna change that. Hes not showing trail entries, hes not linking GPX files, leave him be.
That last bit is proper steep ey? Nicely done!
My usual route on an e-bike is 60 km and 1500m elevation gain. Through 2 mountains and 2 bike parks. Will the battery of this bike last me? Thanks in advance
If you use the power modes efficiently yes. I own this bike and it's one of the best bikes I've ever had but you lose out on power to get the weight down and pedal and maneuver like an analog bike, as is with all SLs. That isn't to say you can't get the same distance on one though.. You just can't plow through everything on turbo the entire ride. I mostly run it in the trail mode, turbo for really steep short stuff.. and I always have battery after a ride.
@@_Jake.From.Statefarm_ thank you!
Looks sick man! Good vid n all. Ill give em a go
Really pushing your bike and I love it, I have a carbon gigga and have been to dyfi but am very scared of it snapping, I wouldn’t be Abel to push as much as you 😂 Respect❤
@@Iq-ok5hj Thanks mate, I’m always slightly cautious but the slight fear of it snapping from a big impact only adds to the excitement😂
Christ get some oil on them brakes
It’s an awful noise isn’t it🤣
Sending it as per Will. Fair play for conquering Slab track!
Thanks, I couldn’t believe how steep some of the slabs were
Same bike as mine but ive got the reactor so was a little under travel at dyfi 🤣
The reactors looks great - not sure if I’d be brave enough to take one to dyfi though😂
I soon realised that 🤣
Love your bike, also have a 2022 mega factory🤩🤩
Thanks, they’re great bikes aren’t they
@@Will_MTB mega or giga? buying my first high end full sus. mostly enduro and DH
I’ve never ridden a giga but I’d recommend a mega as it can pretty much do anything. I’ve done some enduros on my mega and it descends really well and doesnt drag up the climbs.
@@Will_MTB thats really helpful, thanks so much
Going big on the Mega
@@DanHanna-mtb yeah the mega is awesome
Cracking trails
Hi I go Cannock chase a lot and I’m thinking of trying stole cop soon 👍
Stile
Let know if you go i be happy go with new rider be mind I'm not to good👍🏻
Stile Cop is awesome, definitely worth a visit!
Great review. Just bought one to upgrade from my Santa Cruz 5010c which is getting on a bit now (like me). No regrets whatsoever and agree with everything you said. Great riding BTW! 😊
Hey man great vid, where abouts is the trail at 1:05?
I think they’re good if you only want one bike, I went from an analog hardtail to a trek fuel exe it just opened up everything for me really length of rides doubled, skill level from getting to ride more no brainer really, less pressure on my knee issues, you’ll get more out of an SL if you’re a lighter rider too.
@@markroberts7866 Yeah they’re definitely all rounders, it’s surprising how long the battery lasts too
Nice bike experience New friends
Class video bro🎉 are you on Strava by any chance? Just got back into riding after a few years off and want to find some new trails 🤞
Great riding mate, im up in July for a week so I'll check these out, thanks for the show👍
Thanks mate, the trails there are awesome👍
I’m up at dalby next week, can wait to try the off piste, is the trail with the turns easily found? Do you have strava ?
Hi mate, I don’t record rides on Strava but this is the track with the berms👍 www.strava.com/segments/31440359
Looking forward to getting up that way to try these out 🤙
They’re awesome, definitely worth a visit👍
The Wrekin is better when it's had some rain, much more grip!
Yeah that does seem like it’d be the case now I think about it… perhaps I’m too used to the ice rinks at Cannock after it’s had some rain!
@@Will_MTB 🤣
You would be surprised about how much grip there is in the wet! 👍 Deer Run is deffo worth a blast down for sure! Great vid 👍
Thanks mate, I’ll make sure I check out that track next time I’m there👍
pretty awsome sauce
I’m from Grenoside, just bought my first emtb can’t wait to get down
Nice one. Went they today all trails now open and the off piste is only going to get better.
That last jimp!🎉😊
I dont spend much time over the Monkey side but its looking a bit less sloppy than i expected. Nice riding
People like you filming and sharing them is exactly why these trails get shut down
It seems unlikely that Chase Trails and the Forestry commission dont see any of these trails??? They are all over the place. They tend to step in when wooden jumps are created.
Mate that 2nd trail looks so sick!! Any directions?? 🙏
If you know how to get to pink spades its on the way up to there
@@daragreene6372 not sure where pink spades is either tbf, I know where blue is if it’s near there?
@@MountainBikeMike97 blue is well gone at this point, but it is near about in that area.
Hi were abouts are u at 5:22
I am a regular Chase Off Piste user, and even though its heartbreaking when the "Fascist" commission (Forestry commission) destroy wonderful trails, it can also open up new opportunities for trail builders.,,,, BTW like your videos
Yeah it’s just a bit dull for a few months with everything turned to mush… the trails always come back better each time though
Nice video and good showcase of Cannock, Its about 2hr 30 from where I am and maybe I`ll get down there one day. As for the gopro, stopped using mine due to it just cutting out...overheats, too cold...wrong sim card.....not had its breakfast.......blah blah blah...... now gone for DJI.. Looking forward to your next vid
Thanks mate, haven’t really heard too much about the DJIs to be honest, how is it compared to the go pro?
@@Will_MTB DJI is going well so far and I have more confidence in it than the gopro. The tuning settings are as good as gopro and so is the steady cam. The buttons on the gopro are much easier to find and press when on the trail tho. I'm happy with it so far and have no regrets in getting it, like most who switch I did a bit of comparing research before committing as they're not cheap.....
I feel a bit famous, but also sorry if i ruined your video! Those rebuilt sections are looking great to be fair😉
Haha didn’t ruin the video mate, great meeting you!
I saw the exit to the one with the nice burms it’s moved slightly wish I’d gone up on Saturday now..
Yeah that track is running really well, the exit is much more fun now
Planning on having a look round here this weekend and will use Strava to find the trails, but do you know the name of the good ones on Strava?
Have a look on Strava for “monsterfish” - a lot of the tracks are in that area👍
Subscribed great places...
Got a follower for this pal, been to Wharny just the once and it was a mud fest...
Thanks Will, not expecting full disclosure on YT re location, this look superb. i found the others from your last vid no bother... not sure of the Brocton area start point?
This is my local and i love it to bits live around 10 mins away so im up there a lot. no joke there must be at least 100 trails in dimmo
Yeah it’s awesome there, seems to always have new trails appearing too
Not seen you out digging mate?
Great video, well edited, well ridden and well commented. Great when it freezes a bit and the trails dry out they do run really well. Look forward to more of your vids in 2024
Thanks mate👍
Hi Will, moved to the area recently so still exploring Cannock fully. Which area is best to find these off piste sections, last time I went did the follow dog loop which was fun in parts but most of it’s quite tame!
The off piste around the monkey loop are pretty easy to find as a lot of them divert off the main trail. If you look at the heatmaps on Strava while you’re in the area they shouldn’t be too hard to find👍
Nice riding mate! How do you get to that off piste at 09:20 from the top of stile cop??
Thanks mate, at the top of the ridge run trail head there is a small path going to the left if you’re looking down the trails. Follow that and keep an eye out to your right and it’s the first track you come across👍
