Without Hugh helping me to make sense of all this twenty years ago, I would have been lost. I thank God for speaking through Hugh, my salvation decision depended on it. God bless you, Hugh. Praise Jesus Christ my King!

This is GREAT summary of some of the most salient ideas, attitudes, and practices of Hugh and how He approaches God and People. Send a link for this video to skeptics who question how Hugh Ross and science can be relating to the Bible and the world.
(like to Phil skydivePhil, or something similar - who takes angry pot shots, personal, ad hominem attacks, all out of context. - where he eventually admits he felt hurt when he met Hugh briefly at a speaking event.)

Great conversation! I would love to have a cup of tea with Dr Ross and chat about life. He’s been such a blessing in my journey. Believing in old or new earth doesn’t change anything about our salvation through Jesus Christ. If anything, it will be an exciting day when we all find out the truth for ourselves. In the meantime, we make educated guesses but at the end of the day we’re a creation, not the creator. 😊

4th commandment comes to mind and how many people disregard it.

Biblical Hebrew has a smaller vocabulary than English. In biblical Hebrew, there is no word for universe. Instead, the Hebrew phrase that is translated “the heavens and the earth” is used to refer to the universe-the entirety of physical reality. The phrase is used thirteen times in the Old Testament, always referring to all matter, energy, space, and time in the universe. We now know that event was 13.787 ±0.020 billion years. This has been checked, proven and measured with many tools and they all agree. It is not just space that came to be 13.787 billion years ago, but time also. The universe is finite and expanding. Just as the Bible stated thousands of years ago. To deny the existence of a Creator is an error.

It is an established fact of science that our universe is not backwards, eternal in time. So you can attribute all matter, time and space to chance, or intelligence. The choice is yours.

So, how do you actually know that? You know it all? You're certain God is not merely hiding from you because of your sin, as Isaiah states in Isaiah 59?
