Excellent video ! I first saw the Stinger advertised at "Dillon Precision" I had no idea how it worked so I came here and you explained it perfectly. I will be buying one for everyone in my family. Thanks again for the video and the idea of the Stinger.
I love this device. I keep it alongside my bottle opener on my key chain and when anyone asks what it's for I tell them it's to break up bags of ice for the cooler. Some have even aked me where they can find one. I just tell them Walmart. :) BTW it actually works pretty good for breaking up ice.
Very cool device, have a few of them around, James is brilliant, he has some of the best training DVD's and gear on the market. Just gotta love this guy, pleasure to talk to as well, real down to earth guy.
Mr. Keating is one of the most effective - innovative instructors I have ever trained with. Truly a modern legend. The stinger creates havoc to ones cns system - conceals well - plugs into ones martail training whatever style that may be - and as mentioned by Mr. keating - falls under the gray area of weapons law - where as knife/firearms elicits instant negative feedback from legal systems.
this costed 950 pesos in the philippines. too much expensive. i saw a star thing that actually looks like and hurts like a comtech stinger. i will post it here folks
I have never heard of a "palming weapon" CA law on knuckles says it must protect the hand and it must contain metal to fall into this group. I do not know about other states. The Stinger does neither. I am not an attorney but I don't know anywhere this would be illegal. Is it a simple plastic keychain. Any time there are legal questions consult your local DA, not law enforcement.
