I lived and worked at the Capitola Venetian. It’s an old speakeasy and unlike any motel anywhere. It sits no far from the Santa Cruz mountains and just a beautiful area. But it floods usually in Jan every year. I fished off the pier before they moved all those garbage buildings on the pier. You can fish for giant fish and see sharks right off the pier.
Wtf is going on in the world?! Down here in Australia we having bad storms and flooding that just killed 10 and it’s summer, we supposed to be having droughts and bushfires. In England there was a bad storm that killed people, I heard California is having them, it’s crazy
As the glaciers melt, the sea levels rise, the waves become larger, the sea erosion increases the coastal towns are overwhelmed with saltwater the cost to repair the damage becomes a huge problem for most people living near the sea, waterways and rivers, now and every year of your life it’s going to get worst. The the sun will come out, stuff will grow, it will get hotter, the stuff will dry, the storms will return with lightning causing firestorms your house will burn, you will rebuild, your house will burn again. Might as well get ready for it, cuss it can’t be stopped.
I said something about this on a comment like 2 or three days ago in a video of people Trenching a trench from a river tithe ocean which created a big connection between the two

I like it when the radio stations say "Surfers are advised to stay out of the ocean until the danger of big waves subsides."
Who would have thought building right on the beach would be a problem?
