Hi Martyn, if you ever find the embroidery Yarn likes to get into a tangle when you're trying to split the strands, I clamp a pair of forceps to the bottom of the length to be split, then split from the other and let the forceps spin. No more tangles (Yet!!)

It depends on the river, but they like czezc nymphs, worm flies and baitfish patterns
