- Spectrum of the Seas cruise ship By Royal Caribbean has finally arrived in Singapore! My girls were so excited when I told them that we're going to cruise again since our last cruise with Quantum Of The Seas ship last year was so much fun.
The ship undertook her maiden voyage in 2019, designed specifically for Asia market. Still relatively new, it can be seen from the interior of the cabin which is still clean and free from stains.
Although It's roughly the same size as Quantum of the Seas (347m / 1139ft in length or around 3 times football field length, weight 169,379 gross tonnage), Spectrum is part of a more modern class known as the Quantum Ultra. Both the ships share many features and architectural similarities.We also spotted familiar attractions like FlowRider, North Star, iFly and venues such as SeaPlex and Two70. However there are new things that guests can look forward to like Sky Pad, a bungee trampoline adventure, Star Moment, a lively and energetic karaoke venue for family and friends also some new addition for the specialty restaurants and many more.
Overall, we really enjoyed our cruise vacation with Spectrum of the Seas so that 5D/4N feels very short. Not to mention also huge selection of delicious food, included in the cruise package !

No. All food & beverage at Windjammer are included in the package already☺️
What was your itinerary and how much did you pay? Planning to go on this ship with my family.
I paid about S$3200 for 4 people. Cruise itinerary was just cruise in the sea, now ship can stop over in ports such as Klang Kuala Lumpur and Puket Thailand. Hope this helps & have a great cruise time with your family! 😊

1. Where can we find drinking water in cruise? Is it free or paid?
2. While sailing, nothstar is complimenyary to go for ride.? Confirm.
3. What are the activities that we need to book quickly after onboarding?
Good questions!
1. They provide complementary mineral water in the cabin only on the first day. The rest just go to the complimentary restaurants/cafes to refill, so bring along your water bottle
2. No, cost USD 20/pax to ride
3. All the indoor activities in Sea Plex such as the bumper cars, badminton, table tennis etc. you need to go there to book, very fast fully booked.
In other RCL cruises ive been to overseas, they put new bottles everyday. But for RCL sailings from Singapore they only put water on the first day. This is because the water from the ship's tap is the same as any other drinking tap in Singapore. Potable, safe to drink. They buy treated water for the ship. When you go to any dining area in the ship and they serve water from a jug, or you ask to refill your bottle, its the same water too. Lol.

If you buy one of the beverages packages, it will include bottled water that you can pick up at any bars or restaurants. You can also prepay for a case of Evian water to be delivered to your stateroom at the beginning of the cruise. I heard from another cruiser that sometimes the paid activities like the North Star is complementary after a few days into the cruise. You just need to watch for freebies on the cruise app.

I checked in Royal Caribbean website before going, and then asked customer service staff on board just after boarding as some need booking due to limited slot, so will not miss them. During our trip only NorthStar needs to pay. Hope this help😊
Is visa needed for entry Penang & Phuket . ?
Hi, the cruise I took did not go to Penang & Phuket so no visa needed. Anyway, depending on your nationality you may or may not need visa, I suggest you to check Malaysia and Thailand Embassy websites, or your travel agent

Terima kasih! No, we didn’t use porter. If you need so they’re available & there is no fee for their services, but a tip is customary. Usually $1-2 per bag is what most people pay
