These pigs don't stay little forever. I've seen a lot of pigs cast aside when they get fully grown. I dearly hope these little darlings will still be loved by their families even when they get big.

I'm very surprised at how fast they can run! Their short little legs go so fast 😂❤
Considering they are scavengers/very low on the food chain, its no surprise a prey animal would have the ability to move fast, as that's what generally keeps them alive.
@@valkaerie8715 Are they really that low in the food chain? I'd say that in the wild, besides the apex predators of their habitat they don't have much to fear, especially when they grow. The speed is probably mostly for escaping when they're young, but it is also used in attacking once they grow, ramming their opponents. They can have mean tusks too. Omnivores that live in packs usually, and they're smart. In the food chain I'd rate them pretty high.
Edit: but yeah, I guess this is about the really tiny ones. They don't have much offensive in them lol.

@@65kasara Feral type would be better, farm pigs are lazy, even when hungry, and an average male human, would put up too much of a fight for them to consider bringing one down. They would probably just try and eat each other before trying to bring down a person.

Pigs are cute, but please remember that there's no such thing as a micro pig! All of these piglets will grow up into full sized hogs so do not buy them unless you're truly prepared to actually take care of a pig. For their sake as well as yours!

When you visit a farm and interact with animals - you'll realize that they are really smart and loving. All of them. Pigs, chickens, turkeys (those are weird but you can still be friends with them), ducks, geese, cows.. They all have personalities and killing and eating them seems cruel and, at least, unnecessary.
And of course there's a pork ad right before the video.

Cows are just as sweet. When I was in Russia visiting my Grandma, there were cows on a big meadow in front of the house. There was also a small calf. I loved it so much. I petted it on every occasion. She was always so happy when I visited her. My brother thought it was weird hanging out with a calf. But I didn’t care.

Like dogs they come in sizes, and like with dogs humans are breeding them to be smaller and smaller. How do they do that:? They breed two runts, to try to get smaller babies and follow the lines to get smaller and smaller. Unless your abusing your animal, they are not underfed. Like with pygmi goats and other specifically bred to be smaller animals they typically rock fat "pot" bellys. Its just breeding to get them smaller.
It's not bullcrap, there's NO such thing as teacup pig. Research it and learn the truth for yourselves. As you mentioned, they are often sold under false pretense. I lived near a sanctuary rescuing these pigs; not bullcrap. Yes, they do try to breed smaller and always come with health complications. No potbellied pig can naturally be this small. Breeders are misleading buyers intentionally.

There is no such thing as a mini-pig. These are underfed baby pigs. DO NOT fall for the micropig scam, you are buying a full sized pig.

"Miniature pigs" exist, as in it's the name of a breed of pig, but they grow to weigh 68kg. That's the weight of a person. They might have miniature in the name, and they might be small for a pig when grown, but they are still huge.

Not true. There are a few pig breeds that when fully grown are only 25 pounds. Most pigs, like the Vietnamese Pot Belly Pig are much larger, around 100 lbs and up.
