Jill was trying to compromise with saying that she might even agree to taking summers and holidays. I assume that would be when Edmund is older and in school. Not a single compromise from Seneca.
Pat wants real conversations with Faith because they'll make him feel better. Faith mentioned the look her gave her. I know he's not purposely trying to make her feel bad for his situation, it's just that Pat's sad and tired looks are only beginning. 😞
This was the ‘70s. Since Jill was unmarried, the father’s name probably wasn’t even on the birth certificate. If she moved out of the city with Edmund, Seneca wouldn’t have had much legal recourse. He certainly wasn’t going to demand a paternity test!
Totally. Jill acts like taking Edmund away is no biggie. Not everyone can drive half a day or hop on a plane for an hour to see their kid. Imagine if Seneca told he he was taking Edmund- hey, it's only 200 miles away. Jill would flip.
Seneca, is going batshyte crazy over Jill moving to D.C. with Frank. Frank, hasn't even won, yet and Seneca, doesn't even know if he is Edmond's Father. He should be telling Jill about the blood type inaccuracy and getting a blood test.. Such subtrafuge..
Mac is exasperated. He's tries so hard with Delia to do the right thing and tell Pat. She can't because she knows, then, there won't be any wedding. I hope Mac's other parishioners aren't as trying as Delia.
Seneca and Dee both think it's okay to lie, bully, manipulate, make demands, etc. to try and hold on to Jill and Pat, even use an innocent baby (in Dee's case, now a non-existent one). Never mind that Jill loves Frank and Pat loves Faith; Seneca wants Jill and Dee wants Pat. Maybe Seneca and Dee should get together, they have a lot in common.
Not possible, according to the Church. no matter what a person confesses - even murder - the priest has to keep silent and never reveal what he's heard to anyone. Kind of a contradiction, since there's that commandment: "Thou shall not kill".
You did the right thing, Faith, I’m proud of you. Never beg, cajole or bully a man to be with you…..unlike Mary and Dee.
Father Mc Shane, deserves Sainthood. The poor man has dealt with; Mary, Jack, and Delia.. Saint Mc Shane! 😽😺
I wish that Faith, could out- Delia, Delia.. That would be brilliant! 😸
This would be the perfect opportunity to give Bucky story but they'll probably just keep him as a sounding board
This is where I begin to despise Seneca, the control freak. Edmund isn't even his son and he knows it and lies and lies and lies.

If it weren't for the new paternity uncertainty, I'd be on Seneca's side about not sharing his son long distance every few months.

I’m with Seneca on this one.

Why do we never get to see Jillian with her baby, only Seneca??

A push button phone seen for first time in hospital
It looked like Faith/Catherine Hicks was ready to laugh when Bucky/Justin Dees stepped into the scene.
Dear Father/Priest, you need to tell about Delia, then go to confession with a bishop or cardinal or something. But, You Need to Tell!!
If only.

I wonder if little Edmund continued his acting career when he grew up. I did a search and didn't find anything.
It’s all about Seneca
Jillian, just take the baby
Poor Bucky and Clem are just fillers on this show; insert them when you need an extra body; no life, no real need for them.
