Fake News... sorry to burden you with facts and context.
CLAIM: When former KKK Grand Wizard Robert Byrd died in 2010, he was eulogized by Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
AP’S ASSESSMENT: Partly false. Biden did eulogize Sen. Robert C. Byrd when he died, but Byrd was not a “grand wizard” in the Ku Klux Klan. He was a member of the KKK in the early 1940s but later renounced his affiliation with the hate group.
THE FACTS: Byrd died in 2010 at the age of 92, and was the longest serving senator in American history.

As a Canadian, who was taught in Canadian schools in the 1970's, I knew all this history about the KKK before I was 11 years old. My teachers showed us films of what the KKK did to black Americans, and white Republicans who were trying to help them. A kid is too young to see what images I saw in that grade 5 and 6 history class; but it stayed with me.
Which is why when I was older, I was always surprised and shocked to see the Black population of America support Democrats; and attack and demonize the Republican Party.
It was the Republican Party who was formed to fight the KKK and the Democrats since the mid 1800's. It was Republicans, and their black allies who were being lynched.
It was the Democrats who terrorized the black community, and the Republicans who always tried to defend them, and fight alongside of them.
And even today, you can see it all over the news, and in the schools. Black kids are still taught that Democrats are the good guys, and Republicans are the white devils.
    And it is so backwards.

Democrats are great at getting people to believe their lies. So many people believe it was Republicans who were the Klan when it was Democrats who were killing white Republicans, as well as blacks. No Republican ever owned a slave. Not one.

    • @richardlane9582
      @richardlane9582 ปีที่แล้ว

I never believed a word of what was being reported. The News reported it, because it was a big story; they don't care if it's true, just if it will get views. The Politicians like Trudeau supported it, because it gave him multi[le chances for another photo op with teddy bears beside graves (he really can't help himself).
And the natives played along of course, because they wanted those "sweet reconciliation" dollars that Trudeau was handing out in exchange for native votes.
Under Trudea, Canada has tanked. He makes Joe Biden look competent, and the LIberal Party of Canada, makes the Democrats look virtuous in comparison. In Canada, NO MONEY goes out the door....unless some Liberal, somewhere, is getting a piece of the action.

not only that but even in the 1960s it was the Reps that ushered in civil rights. But JFK got all the credit, most Democrats at the time including the rat LBJ was against it and only changed their mind when they realized they could use it as an excuse to "fight poverty" by basically putting blacks into reservation camps (ghetto) and getting the women to marry the state. Thats how you keep a group of people down, you take control over their money, property and family values.

You are not entirely Correct, in the days after the Civil war the South went thru 10 years of Marshall law from the North where they stole, destroyed and raped women and land and took what they wanted for Ten Years.. The KKK was formed to combat this action from the Federal Government.. In those Days the Republicans were the Bad Guys, Lincoln was a Criminal POS and Very Greedy his Greed for Power is what the civil war was about Slavery was just how the times were, The South didn't invent it Been around for thousands years and still today we are slaves of the Greedy. The South was Really the Good Guys.. I was born in 1954, raised in southern Indiana. I had a black friend I played with, I'm white. And there was a elderly black man who lived down the road from us, we were close to him. The late 50s and 60s were horrible. It was more in the south. It was on the news every night. I went to my mom crying, afraid democrats would hurt my friend and Mr. Blane. I didn't know what a democrat was. I thought they had something to do with demons (in a way they did). My family took care of Mr. Blane until he passed. His sisters tried to get him to move back to Louisville with them. He told them we were his family.

And yet, in the 50's and 60's in the north, where you lived, they had their own systematic ways of keeping blacks down, particularly in their job possibilities. Redlining came into force in many northern cities. The police forces weren't exactly fair either, and these things were brought to a head in the form of riots in Philidelphia, Newark, and Detroit. Even as late as the 80's and 90's, the largest number of racial hate groups in the US were actually found in California and the Michigan-Ohio areas.

The klan is conservative, a far right entity wtf are you talking about? you and these two people in the video are delusional. These half ass klan videos people watch do not tell the whole story.
I bet you did not know there were 3 waves of the klan. One created by Nathan beford in pulaski Tennessee which died down due to federal regulations in the 1880s
and reemerged in the 1910s after birth of a nation came out. This klan was created in atlanta georgia and expanded outward from the south and crossed party lines outside the south. The 2nd klan adopted certain things from the first klan and added more like white sheets, anti communism and anti socialism and anti catholicism beliefs.
      Sidebar:
At the end of the 1870s the lily white movement emerged in the south within the GOP to remove black republicans from leadership, the black and tan factions of the GOP pleaded for help from their compatriots in the north but was ignored.. The GOP in the south was originally a black party the lily white movement changed that.
The state of colorado has a deep history of the kkk that famous ferris wheel picture is comprised of democrats republican sand independents. Look up Rice Means and Clarence Morley both KKK governors in the GOP IN THE 1920s
Indianas Klan were all Republican i have a article about that klan that was led by DC Stevenson, the black people voted democrat in that state during the 1920s

One day my grandmother was carrying wood to the house and some klan members showed up and warned my grandfather that they better not see her carrying wood again. My grandfather stood up to them. At my grandfathers death, the amount of black people that showed up was amazing, speaking of how my grandfather helped them so much financially, bought them cars, helped get them homes. This is information I've known for a long time since the early 1990s. In 2008, I wrote a short book about the history and activities of the Democratic Party. I dedicated a chapter to the origins of the KKK, and that it is in fact a part of the Democratic Party itself. Being white isn't the only criteria for being a member. Another criteria is being a Democrat. That has always been the case and has never changed. There was no "switch" in the parties.

    • @2RGGrannyJeff

    • @korndogz69
      @korndogz69 ปีที่แล้ว +26

@@2RGGrannyJeff What I wrote was a framework for a book. It's only 60 pages, and has the outlines for 13 chapters. I was just writing about things I had studied in the past, and was also studying at the time. No mainstream publisher wanted it (Random House, etc.). I did register what I had, and it has an ISBN, but it would still need a lot more work to be something I'd call a complete work. I titled it "America in the Middle" to reflect that most Americans are more purple than red, or blue. This notion that everyone is either "far-left", or "far-right" is absurd. It's a divide-and-conquer narrative just like the lie that most Americans are racist.
*Edit* By the way, I need to correct myself on one thing. There WAS one switch that took place between the Democrat and Republican parties. It wasn't their political stances. It was geographical. After the Reconstruction Era, the South, over time, rejected the Democrat Party, and they relocated to Northern states while Southerners embraced the Republican Party since it fostered the things Southerners cared about the most: Self-reliance, self-governance, and government leaving us the hell alone. The Democrat Party is still all about slavery. They've just expanded from racial slavery to enslaving everyone with invisible economic chains rather than iron. They've embraced Marxism as the means to accomplish that goal.

My Mom always taught us to see the character in others, not the color of their skin. She always said "there is sorry white folks and sorry black folks and good black folks and white folks and you can't tell a difference by what they look like". I saw very little racism in my 40 years living in the south. I've been living in the north for 20 years and see more racism here than ever before. Also, the history taught in southern schools tells the true history about racism, the civil war, and slavery, but northern education is all about southerners being racist and ignorant. The government and people in charge want to control what we believe whether it's true or not.

Same experience but in reverse. Moved from the North to South and learned the truth which was the opposite of what my northern schools/Democrat upbringing taught me. Speaking to southerners about their experiences will wake one up real fast. I honestly think that’s why the media paints the south in such a negative light….fear keeps people from discovering the truth for themselves.

They didn't fight and die to end slavery. During the war escaped slaves fought for the union, and the law demanded that they be send back to their slavers after the war. This was unthinkable and immoral, so the decision was made to abolish slavery in the Confederate states. Slaves in the Union were excluded until a bill was passed outlawing slavery nation wide.
The reason the Union declared war on the Confederacy was because they chose to break away, giving the Union states a direct competitor for the yet uncolonized parts of today's USA as well as a possible threath to their safety.
The USA post civil war continued to take land of and deported native Americans.
So, no, generally they did not fight for liberty and equality or moral ideas, although this may have been a motivation for some.

I was born shortly after the 1981 killing, but do remember it being discussed years later. I'm from Texas and we all got along. I wouldn't say that there was no racism, but it was so infrequent that it was basically gone.
My mom did tell me about a time that she was working as a waitress in her early twenties... She had just served a black family their meal and a well dressed white man waved her over. He presented a business card that identified him as being a klan member. He suggested that she ask the family to leave through the back door, as he expected fellow members to be arriving soon and "didn't want any trouble for her" since she was serving them.
She also talked about overhearing conversations when she was young. One thing that always stood out was that the Klan was more likely to be brutal with white allies than the blacks themselves. She said their logic was that those who are black didn't choose their race, but whites who sided with blacks were actively being traitors to their race. It actually comes to mind when I see the woke crowd attacking black conservatives. The mindset is exactly the same.

Most parents can not teach the separations of powers, especially within the governmental schemes. I don't think I would have gained my independence outside of public school. I heard stories about it from my parents like segregation. My mom incidentally de-segregated the town of Cleveland, Texas when she was 5 years old in 1957. My mom's family are among the founders of that town, and her grandfather owned much of the land there. My mom was at the public pool, and it was segregated. There was "white time" and "black time" at the pool. When the whistle was blown for "black time", my mom jumped into the pool and played with the black kids. She said the other mothers there were shocked and gasping (LoL!). Being that my mom was of the most prominent family in the town, so not to create a scandal, they just de-segregated the town.

Daddy had many black friends and he high tailed it out of there! From the early 70s, we attened church with blacks & whites. We supped at each other's home. We got alot of flack for for it but, that just made us even more public because Daddy said no one was going to tell us who our friend would be

My wife was not allowed to enter the front doors of businesses in Philadelphia, MS when she was a child. I was a friend to the gentleman who discovered the station wagon of the missing civil rights workers. English was not his first language. He often had me write letters and memos for him. We eventually had to go to church twenty miles away.

I grew up during the Jim Crow times. At age six I asked my mother why there were three bathrooms at the local gas station one said white women one said white men the other said colored. My mother who was also raised in the south said because people are stupid. I remember it very clearly. My family had a black lady who helped to raise us and if we had ever treated her with disrespect our butts would have been switched good! My family has been republican as far back as we know. I learned so much from Miss Corine who helped raise us. Taught us to clean. Taught us how to care for ourselves. Taught us about the world. I knew I was grown up when she called me Miss Sally! I was about twenty one. I loved her. When my school integrated there was no violence. We were all raised right mostly by our mothers and black ladies. I loved them both.

I recall the days of the Klan and being a white 15 yr old girl from prejudiced parents, I didn’t know any better until I worked a few hrs after school at a dry cleaners run by a Jewish man. A black woman named Helen worked as his seamstress and I got to know her well! She was the sweetest, most humble, and Christian person I ever knew up to then! She always loved to sing songs to the Lord! Through her love and kindness, I had the courage to confront my parents with their prejudice telling them they can’t call themselves Christians and hate blacks! I asked them “what did they ever do to you?” My folks finally changed their views! I just want to apologize right this moment to every black person that I’m so sorry for the sins of our nation against you, my brothers and sisters! I personally denounce anyone in my bloodline who treated other souls like anything less of a human being. Who alive today can claim they have zero bloodline who imprisoned others? Go all the way back to the beginning of the calendar. No one can say they come from a pure bloodline who never sinned against another.

The brainwashing that was done with anyone who was of color or who supported those of color, it’s ridiculous. So many people of color vote Democrat for exactly that reason, because their elders said or believed it. You were taught to listen to and respect your elders. Now, many are learning to research and think for themselves. I don’t claim either party because I believe all government politicians seeking that power are usually evil in some way. I trust NONE of them. They have their own personal agendas. I’m so glad y’all are spreading awareness.

You're life wasn't a lie. It was just how we are raised. It was told to our parents from our grandparents from our great parents. They were lied to. They were made to believe certain things. We're waking up now and know what's real. I've watched several of your videos and just subscribed after this one. Watching you has definitely opened my eyes to what I was always feeling. We definitely have to research history and decide for ourselves. My Mom is still all about Democrats and we debate about this all the time. She's 72 and will not open her eyes. I'm from Chicago and History never taught us anything but George Washington, Christopher Columbus, Harriet Tubman, and Fredrick Douglas. Lack of History in the schools keeps us in the dark.

Are you implying that because the original KKK members were democrats that all democrats are the same? Isn't that like saying all white people are racist? Or all black people are rappers? You can't color a whole group by a portion of its members. Isn't that what makes racism so ridiculous? Racists suck, but I don't think you can paint a person as racist based solely on their political affiliation. Even lifelong democrats or republicans don't necessarily agree with EVERYTHING within that party. Stop putting people in boxes - people are far too complex for that.
