      They aren't. The news reports things out of the ordinary. If it were ordinary it wouldn't make the news. The problem is people see things on the news and think it's the norm. The news doesn't exist to tell us "Yep, everything is the same as yesterday!". Here's the thing. Most of the media isn't The News. Capitol letters. It's opinion shows. There's a legal distinction. Tucker Carlson and Rachel Maddow are opinion. They can say whatever they want and hide behind OpEd laws while lying to you. It's news as entertainment. Meanwhile the news can't. The actual news has to tell the truth. It's why Fox News can't keep a host for it's actual 10 o'clock nightly news program for more than two years. That program is legally bound to tell the truth. Which often outright contradicts what the news entertainment part of the company is saying. MSNBC has a similar problem. Most of the hot takes from news papers are in the editorial section, opinion. It's a problem in this country that people don't seem like they were taught the difference between the two. Everyone thinks news is news. It's not. There are two distinct sets of law. One covering news and one covering editorial. But for some reason 99% of the country thinks editorial is news. Probably because the news is boring. Editorial is interesting because it can say some outrageous things. Shrug.

      I would have like to have seen the statistics on black on black killings in the same year so I looked it up and it was 2570 black killed by black against 233 black killed by cops and lets be honest they did not just put their hands up and surrender. Mistakes do happen but even then there is normally a reason, if I was black I would be far more afraid of being killed by a black person than a cop.
      There is a statistic that is missing in so much as people that don't commit crimes rarely get arrested almost never run and is statistically to low to even come up with a number on being killed.
      Not committing crime is a great way of keeping yourself safe , live by the gun then die by the gun.

If you have a weapon, advise them of such in advance. NO, this is not a talk that only black people experience. Be respectful. Be cordial, but honest??? If honest means shutting your mouth, then yes. If honest means blabbering on and on, then NO. SHUT YOUR MOUTH. What part of the Miranda rights don't you understand. Do NOT assume that EVERY cop is honest and out for your good. Be respectful. Be cordial. But.... BE SMART. If you are driving a car, you have to provide your license, registration and proof of insurance. You do NOT have to tell the officer what you were doing, where you were going, or ANYTHING ELSE for that matter. Provide the information requested, SHUT YOUR MOUTH and wait for the citation. If the officer issues unlawful orders, comply, but state that you are doing so under duress, but do not resist. COMPLY. Then work it out in the courts, not in the street. Do NOT grant permission for a search of your vehicle. If you are a pedestrian, do NOT provide identification unless you are placed under arrest. Be respectful, but BE SMART legally.

      That is also a bias we all need to check! There are more good people than bad always. And at the very least, more people who genuinely try to do what they think is best for others. In the same way that people only see black folks being hurt by police in their social feeds, some people only see examples of the most disgraceful, hateful liberals and read stories of the worst behaved and most extreme professors. I am currently in school again and all of my professors are unexpectedly kind and open minded. I expected the worst but had to check myself. It's a relief but also sad that no matter who we are, it's easy to become jaded or cynical of the world. We're all still human and will all be better off the sooner we stop assuming the worst of any group of people based on race, profession, political party, city, country, wealth status, marriage status, gender, or sexual orientation. People have to stop making decisions about law, ethics and morals based on feelings. The problem is, and has always been, culture.
      There are many formulas for a good and decent life and anyone who follows them will reap the benefits.
      Modern leftism takes it roots from philosophies which reject individualism and personal responsibility and which culminate in total aesthetic and moral nihilism. This results in a cynical view of the world that disallows inspiration, laughs at heroes, and reduces man to a "meat robot" incapable of noble action or mastery of his momentary urges.
      The black "culture" which really sprung up in the 1970s as a result of 60s radicalism embodies this nihilism. Current black culture is made up of artifacts whose meanings are discernible only in terms of a fabricated history. Lawlessness is encouraged. Proper usage of the English language is discouraged. Role models are often athletes or criminals, or both. In this mental universe, which is essentially "anti-mind", the formulas for a good and decent life sound foolish, so they're explicitly rejected. Anyone who rejects the culture and makes good on his own is shunned from the group.
      Of course, the results are easily predictable -- and naturally this means an effort must be mounted to shut people up lest they destroy an academic career or two by mentioning the obvious. The leftist academics who perpetuate the rhetorical basis for such self-destruction are unaffected by any of it, yet they are to blame for almost all of it.
      When people, of any color, follow principles of destruction....they will get destruction.
      When people, of any color, follow principles that lead to life... they will get life.

    Tony Timpa, 2016. Appalling callousness and killing by the police of a white mentally ill man who called the police himself for help because he had not taken his medication for his schizophrenia and his mental state was deteriorating. They suffocated him to death and were laughing. The footage is one of the most heartbreaking and appalling things I have ever seen that I will never be able to unsee or unknow about the cruelty of people. The case never made the news and his mother had to fight the police for a long time to get the footage and truth about what happened to him. The media didnt want to know, until years later when it was linked to Floyds case as they both died after being restrained in a similar way. It has taken years, but his family finally won the right in 2021 to go to federal civil trial against the officers. The hearing was supposed to be this year and it has been delayed until this month, September 2023. It should not matter what race or ethinicity someone is in terms of policing, the law, or access to justice. Justice should be blind.

      Sometimes you can't even trust statistics tho. Sometimes statistics have been tampered with by certain malicious forces. It happened in Sweden with criminality and rape statistics. They literally hid and changed certain statistics so that there wouldn't be no proof of a certain demographic doing these things, immigrants from african or arabian countries. The political party at the time had such brainwashed sheeps all over our country that even the government statistics people had been given orders to falsify the statistics, and maybe even some of them did it out of their free will. Because at the time people had this insane fear that a certain right wing party was full of nazis and that if they gained popularity we would get nazi regime and shit... Because of you say that immigrants in this country are unruly and commit an insane amount of crime you are a nazi by default. Atleast that's how it used to be. Now the former regime who has had this country brainwashed for almost 100 years straight (except a few years) is dethroned and a big chunk of people are waking up from the brainwashing. But majority of lefty voters are still seemingly in a coma, some of them seem to have been sleeping for the past 15 years, like they have lived their lifes so free of dangers somehow they have not seen the shit that has been happening and has thus trusted the news blindly. Oh and BTW our main media TV station has also been caught on several occasions straight up lying about shit when it comes to criminal immigrants. My workmates son was beaten up by 5 immigrants just randomly when he was in town centre with his friend and I told my work mate this isn't the first time I've seen this happen. I've been harassed my immigrants and my mom got assaulted by immigrants, they always attack in groups... My workmate almost called me a racist for saying that stuff but I told him it's not racist if it's true... It's not racist to state what actually fucking happened.

      From the moment my children started to watch TV (no portable screens then), or read books/magazines or comics I encouraged discussion and would present alternative viewpoints. Just to avoid them believing everything without questioning. I did the same with my son with video games and how they are different to reality. I was shocked and strongly dismayed a few years ago when a friend's son (about 13 years old) asked "if I stab someone at school they would be okay when they find a heath pack?". That's the version of reality they had from playing video games with zero supervision or input from their parents. Obviously there are many issues with this but my main point is education starts at home. This isn't just an issue about schools and formal education. It's also about parenting.
      Admittedly, if the parents are poorly educated they might struggle a bit more, but surely not when it comes to issues of morals, politeness and respect. These are things which children should learn before any formal schooling.
      Yes, it should be reinforced in the classroom but without parents also being on board it's likely to fail.

They label about 30 per year "unarmed", but if you actually look at individual incidents most of them had an unconventional weapon or something they took off the officer trying to arrest them. If you sort by "non-fleeing" you get closer to the truth and there's only about 3 genuinely innocent black people shot per year. 1 or 2 of them were not intentionally shot, but were hit by stray bullets after a drug dealer or gang member shot at police unprovoked. I would have been embarrassed just waffling back and forth like they are. I believe the prof was attempting to teach his students multi levels of problem solving at the same time. You can see the inner struggle they have from giving an answer that doesn't victimize black people. This is especially true when that black girl said that she would agree with that kid holding up the sign saying "am I next". Even though the numbers were right in front of her, literally, she still said the words "yes he will be next" so watch out.

      I think part of the issue with that one person struggling with what they were comprehending is that they were probably not taught to admit they could be wrong and that what they know is actually wrong. And instead of admitting being wrong because of possibly feeling shame or embarrassment they attempt to cling to the false information they are familiar with instead of the unfamiliar facts. So I think not only is it important to learn how to do research and learn how to see and find the facts and not just believe everything you hear or see from the media but to also learn to admit when you are wrong because it is ok to be wrong about something as we are not all perfect.

No one says that about the other politicians claiming they been wronged by the other party. No one says that when white people complain about something. Always, black people are the ones told they are wrong, and stop playing the victim. Why is something wrong when black people do it, but not wrong when white people do it? Stating truth or what they perceive as truth doesn't mean they don't want to take personal responsibility. There have been violent and deadly hate crimes by whites against blacks in the 20th and 21st century and those white people are in jail. So stop acting like it's all in black people's head.

    • @IrishColin
      @IrishColin ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Apostate_ofmind no, for two reasons. Reason one is that the 95 percent demographic she’s referring to is only actually 12 percent of the population total, a good quote to sum it up is “you might not win with us but you’ll lose without us”. With 95 percent of the black vote along side the other votes they get it usually pushes them over the edge to win but not always. The second reason is distribution, a large amount of the black population lives in a handful of states. A good example would be if America was made up of 80% white people and 20% black people but all the white people lived in 3 states and the black people were distributed throughout the other 47 states then the 20 percent of the population would decide all elections because it’s about the amount of states you win rather than popular vote. We have the electoral college to ensure that large states can’t decide what’s best for the rest of the country.

      I know, right? Growing up in a predominantly white community, I could have looked at the guys I went to school with, and probably picked about 1% of them that were likely to end up in prison or getting put down by the cops. And had I grown up in "the hood", I'm guessing that number might be substantially higher. I think MOST of the people that end up getting shot by the police come as no surprise to family, friends, neighbors, etc.
      And in black neighborhoods, a lot of people DEFEND the criminals among them. They refuse to turn them in, even as their own neighborhoods rot from within due to the drugs, crime and violence. It's a self-perpetuating system if nobody is willing to put their foot down and say "no more". You make the bed you lie in, so there's little use complaining about it later.

      The best comment in this entire comments section is your third sentence: "Figure out why people are committing crime and then work solutions from there." And when we do that, I think we'll see that what Ben Shapiro once said is so very true: "it has nothing to do with race and EVERYTHING to do with CULTURE." Our problems in this country are more about CLASS than RACE. Poor people and mentally ill people are terribly marginalized, yet for some reason, the media would rather focus on the color of people's skin.

    • @Mr.Ekshin
      @Mr.Ekshin ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@ProtectLifeAlways - I think you misunderstood Ben when he spoke about culture. He wasn't talking about class or wealth. There are extremely poor areas of the country with almost no crime to speak of... and there are very wealthy areas that are absolutely riddled with violence and crime.
      But there is a pervasive subculture that CELEBRATES criminal behavior. They applaud it in music, in film and TV, and they excuse it at every turn. They refuse to turn in criminals, though everyone in these areas know exactly who the criminals are. And they don't seem to care how violent or depraved their neighborhoods become... they try to blame that on other people and other factors.
      It's sad and it needs to stop. But there are many who refuse to even acknowledge that elephant in the room. They'd far rather play word games. They'd rather blame everything and everyone else, though we all know what the real issues are. It's just sad.

    The thing I liked about this video is how the students are listening to their professor. What he was saying may have challenged their worldview but none of them were screaming or calling him a racist or saying his was promoting white supremacy or saying they felt "unsafe." We hear so much about how fragile college students are and there are hundreds of videos showing someone having a meltdown or trying to get a speaker cancelled and yet here we have a whole auditorium of people listening respectfully even though the subject may be sensitive to some.

    I think the worst thing to EVER happen to TRUTH has been 24 hour a day NEWS. News suddenly became dependent upon ratings. So stories had to stir up emotions because then more people will watch. And you do that by exaggerating the truth. Or just outright lying. You make the story bigger than it is. MEDIA owes all of us an apology. They have caused a lot of harm - and are still doing so - in their quest to be number one.
