Actually figured this out on my own. One of the few missions I did, I got both S rank wrenches with 3k attack at level 10, and Optimus's michael bay sword, SS rank(now has over 8k attack, and I didn't even start magnus yet other than this mission) Glad this is in it. I like the loot aspects but I'm sick of it already. I've beaten the game 5 times now(warrior twice, scout with wheeljack, and commander twice, once first time and once doing no damage on all bosses). I've got most of the trophies, but that SS rank trophy and the plat is going to haunt me forever, unless someone finds an exploit
Great vid. Didn't know that you can refresh the stock in the shop. I farmed shielded chest near Ark waypoint in the center of the city on Prime difficulty using Optimus loaded with drop rarity and cash tech. Going to the Ark creates a checkpoint so you can open the chest, esc, load and open that chest again. Now a better strategy would probably be farming cash from the chest (350k with 6 tech accessoires) and buying what you need in the shop. What I figured out by collecting and leveling loads of SS rank weapons is that special variants like Wheeljack's wrenches, Sideswipe's swords or boss weapons like Drills have better damage progression compared to regular weapons and are really overpowered once leveled. Cheesed challenges using Wheeljack with 14k damage wrenches and menasor's cyclone gun that shoots homing ball lightning.
