Hi, do the 2 products have to be in draft to create the group listing? Can’t both listings be published live as well, before creating the group listing? One can be published. The way it is shown in this video is ok but overcomplicates things. Publish one and add variant to that one from the other unpublished listing.
So I finally figured this out and it’s awesome. You have explained this very well. Quick question: Let’s say you have a listing already in existence and you want to add a kids t shirt version. Can I just make a kids shirt in printify, hide in my store publish it, copy those codes sizes etc over and add it to the existing listing? Second quick question: what then happens if you delete the drafts on the Etsy side? Thanks!!!

But i have a problem, as I'm doing 3 different colours for my shirt, but on etsy listing, I can only enter 1 SKU accordig to its size, so which SKU (they have 3 as one for each colour) from Printify should I enter in Etsy listing?????
oh this is awesome......so i can create a listing for each coffee mug "style" AND THEN create 1 separate listing that also includes all variations of the same mug but different styles. But that makes sense because like you said you have to 1st create each item's listing in Printify FIRST...then grab the SKU and enter into that 1 Group Listing.
What do you do with shipping profile? Do you had two to one listing? Also since the days of printing may vary will the customer be informed? I super appreciate you!

Hi Christine, is there a way to make a group listing with two shirt colors (or even just one), where they have about 20 options for phrases to choose from in variations, but also have the option to customize (choose) their own phrase instead of picking what is offered? How is this done? This is how I see group listing variations listed when I am doing my market research. Thanks!
Simply Shawna posted a video on this on one of her summer group videos this year. She tries to keep everything automated as possible so, if memory serves me…she said she put color and only added 1-2 colors and price in one variation and in the other one then she added around 15 at least sayings and always adds “custom” option also just for anyone who wants something more specific. I can’t remember she maybe put color and size in one and price and saying in other? If not she would have had to leave personalization and do manually and idt she did that. I would have to go back and look. Hope you find her video and it helps. I assume this video basically is the same.

Okay thank you for the video. But if you published it and hid it in etsy why did they still pop up in etsy? I'm having a terrible time with this. I know to hide in store on printify side anthrm just create new listing in etsy but when I'm trying different designs with different colors only the sizes for one listing shows up in etsy as if I never put the colors in.

I do free shipping for US orders, and then bake that fee into the product price. Since these shirts are from the same print partner, they'll ship the items together which makes me save fees. 😀

Can you add the first listing through Printify, and then add the second tshirt so you're not having to copy and paste all the different sku's? Also, can you just include the link to the other listing in the mom shirt listing? Also, aren't you actually paying 20 cents for three different listings, when you only need to pay for one listing?
It's almost the same process. You just have to publish all the shirts with different designs (don't forget to hide them), and then manually input SKUs in each variation to link them.
Hi, I have a quick question. Once I've made the combo listing, can I safely delete the single item drafts? I use my drafts section as a sort of launch point for new items because I create listings in batches and then release them over time, so I want to avoid clutter.
Near the end of the video you said something about the order coming together? Let’s say I want to sell an 11 oz mug and a 15 oz mug. If the customer only wants to purchase one do they have the option to do that, or are they buying both items together? I want to combine two listings when selling mugs so it doesn’t clutter up my listings. I want to make it easier for customers to buy from me. But I’m not interested in selling sets of mugs.
Yes, they will get only one product since your options are synced to one product. For example, they picked just a 15 oz, black, mug. There is only one SKU for this so they will only get one product.
I don't think you can! You'll have to choose if your listing a digital or physical item. But you can leave one of your SKUs blank, and make that an option for buyers who want's a digital product. Then you can just send them the copy via email.

I do have a question about the number of products I'd have to creat on Printify if I have ove 20 images on Etsy which I want to offer in 4 brands/ styles. When you publish hidden printify listings, they should show up in your drafts. If you've copy pasted the SKUs already, then its safe to delete them on etsy.

Hi Bo! Yes you could :) you’d need to just make the listing twice in Printify, one with MD and one with swiftpod and then do what this video showed, publish to drafts, add a new variation with that color that you were missing and find the SKU and manually add it in

This is super helpful, thank you. I did what you suggested re: adding both adult and toddler sizing (I'm going with the mom and me options too). This results in a list of adult and toddler sizing options, which Etsy only allows the user to select one of. I'm wondering how I enable the user to select two sizes? Hello, can you show what the shipping profile that should be used for these listings? Typically printify creates a new one with each listing so I don't know what to select
You have to create a delivery profile on Etsy. Go to Orders and Delivery Tab -> Delivery Settings (Top right corner) -> Then create your own profile. This will the automatically show up on your delivery options on printify. Hope this helps! 😊

Yes you could just add the SKUs for the kids shirt. You can delete the drafts and it wont affect the combined listing. :)

I gave this a test a bit ago and you can actually leave it as a draft! It’ll just say “unpublished” beside your printify listing

You should be able to as the SKUS are what matter :) I haven’t deleted them but I don’t think it would cause the linking to break

Yes, absolutely! As long as they add everything to their cart first, they can place an order for multiple different shirts.

I just leave them both on Etsy and Printify 😅, just incase I need the skus in the future, it'll be easy to find them.
@@c.u.online Thank you, Cristina🙏🤗 I actually did leave them in Printify, but I changed them from hidden to published. Did you do that? Because I'm not sure... 🙈 if we saved them as drafts on Printify or they are hidden, do orders still import from Etsy to Printify when someone places one?
Thanks for this, so helpful. I trolled the comments about shipping but still have questions. Does Printify give them a break for shipping on the back end when shipped together? Do you ever just set up a fixed price profile for the order and possibly take a hit? Seems maybe worth it to simplify. Thanks so much for all your tips!

This is super helpful, thank you. I did what you suggested re: adding both adult and toddler sizing (I'm going with the mom and me options too). This results in a list of adult and toddler sizing options, which Etsy only allows the user to select one of. I'm wondering how I enable the user to select two sizes? Any pointers would be gratefully received.
they can add one to cart, then just hit the back button and select another option, hit add to cart and then theyll have both in cart

Hello, can you show what the shipping profile that should be used for these listings? Typically printify creates a new one with each listing so I don't know what to select
You have to create a delivery profile on Etsy. Go to Orders and Delivery Tab -> Delivery Settings (Top right corner) -> Then create your own profile. This will the automatically show up on your delivery options on printify. Hope this helps! 😊
What if I want to offer free shipping for my group listings. How much should I add to my product price to cover that cost?

Hello. Can two SKUs go in one SKU box field? What I’m trying to do is two different items but bundled for one price that differentiates based on the size of one of the items in the bundle
Unfortunatley not :( theyll have to purchase them together or youll have to manually add in a second item to the bundle on the backend
