I ride this exact route almost every morning but prefer the ups over the downs🏔️ I have never had a fully so this looks very bouncy. Tricky to keep the front on the ground with short stems. Well ridden sir 👌
When the lockdown ends and Hadleigh park reopens the trails you should get down there on a Thursday morning at 10am because there is a group ride every week, people of all ages and abilities. It’s a really great way to meet some like minded people.
Nice video. When I used to live that way I would visit a few times a year. Only ever managed 4 laps in one go. Have no idea how the pros managed 8 laps in a couple of hours. Mental
Good work, I used to do that many times when I lived in Benfleet, its a lot harder than people think and the camera never does the inclines justice, there are some tuff climbs. I'll be back when we are allowed to travel as I live in London now so not many trails..
All the trails here have been closed for the time being because the bad weather has eroded them away and now they’re dangerous to ride. The park are supposed to be repairing them but god knows how long that’ll be
👍👍👍😎looks bloody hard that, i really want to try this place but not in peak fit condition, could i do it slowly to try and get back some kind of fitness in me ?
New to mtb and been going over there a lot as I live nearby, I enjoy it but damn the climbs absolutely kill me. Want to go try Danbury as it’s also not too far, is it a lot more fun there?
Danbury is definitely a lot more fun for a lot less effort but it is a completely different type of riding to Hadleigh, I recommend if you known someone that’s been there before to go with them and they can show you the trails there but if not then just take your time and learn the runs before going full speed, everything there is rideable for most average riders but can easily catch you out as well. East of England ambulance service are unfortunately regular visitors there
Hadleigh park is only 10min ride from me, great place to keep up the fitness. Hate that climb up to the tunnel, got it down to 50 seconds now 👍 Can do all blue , red and black lines apart from the Triple trouble A line, have done it but lost my confidence with that for some reason😩
Wow 50 seconds is fast, I struggle up that hill so much it’s unreal! It’s brutal over there fitness wise, it’s basically an outdoor gym in my opinion, not somewhere to go for a fun ride. I would love to be able to do several laps in a row without stopping but I just about make it around once lol
i have ridden this a few times now, and hate the climbs. I ride through the downs first to get there and never doen a complete loop, just separate sections. what bike are you doing it on?

It’s brutal on a full sus, when I went from my hardtail to my full sus I had to relearn climbing as I don’t have a fancy lockout lol

One day we beat the 13min
Haha that’s the target!! Let’s do it 💪
Not managed to do a full lap - the ups are just to hellish for me. Came a cropper on the rock garden so definitely wear pads now 😊
I always wear pads, I also struggle on the hills too, this is my first time getting round in one, I was so tired that I was going dizzy lol
You did really well and Ty for the spots I did not know how meany red lines I have missed lol
epic its a real tough ride with so many mega climbs
Good on you Lee. I would luv to go and do this as would be big achievement. Unfortunately no1 to go with as I'm a lone rider.

4 laps in one go is mega! I could only do one before collapsing lol 😂

@@leemtb Thanks for the heads up, I'll stick to Epping for a while.

Definitely, this is where I initially built up my fitness
Thanks 👍🏼

That hill almost convinced me I needed a Ebike but not giving in hahaha. This could be a good channel. Keep up the good work!
Thanks 😊

I ride a 2020 Calibre Bossnut at the minute. Takes time to be able to do complete laps at Hadleigh because it is so tiring
@@leemtb I only live local and do like it over at Hadleigh, but have to agree it is a lot of effort for not a great deal of reward/fun
thinking about going down there in few weeks, whats the trails like in this wet winter?
Better than in the dry as there is loads more grip in the wet
@@leemtb awesome! might give it a try tomorrow it the weather stays dry.
