I love Great Basin. I don't make it there often enough, but it's one of the highlights of my year when I do. It's mind-boggling to look at those trees and then think of what was happening historically when their first roots broke through the seeds.
Yeah, it's just an amazing National Park! It is pretty crazy to imagine how old these trees are! So good to hear from you, and thanks for checking out this video!
Those jagged mountains are incredible to see. Your fav trees are there! Looking forward to seeing them in real life one day. Indeed another awesome trail! Thanks for showing us this beautiful place!
Yeah , the mountains are beautiful out there, and the trees are definitely my favorite! You got a love it! I hope you're able to make it out here eventually, and if the time is right. I'll be able to join you. Thank you so much, Josh!
Looked great weather, prefect for a hike and although not a long hike, it sure looked a tough hike. Shame about the closed car park and extra hiking but still worth it for a great days hiking. Some real impressive trees, dam old as well, never knew a tree could survive as long as that. Funny in that heat, seeing snow and a glazier as well cheers Alan
Yeah, it was a really beautiful hike, and the extra mileage that I had to do on this one was worth it! I definitely lucked out with the weather! Thanks, Alan!
Thank you very much! I am glad you enjoyed the video, my friend! I really do my best not to film other people when I'm making these videos. There were other hikers on the trail, but once I got past the Bristlecone Pine trees area going toward the Glacier, there was absolutely nobody.
Wheeler Peak Nevada is the best! Camping up there, we woke up to deer in our camp and they were not afraid of us at all😊Was wondering when you were going to get over there!
I can totally imagine that the camping there would be amazing! I love seeing deer 🦌. Yeah, I was out there about 4 years ago, so I was really do for a trip back! Never gets old! Thank you so much, my friend!
cool info on the pine trees and before getting to the glacier that was some rugged looking landscape and I would never of thought about snow or a glacier being in Nevada but at that high altitude it would be cold enough, overall another good hike Eric
Yeah, it was definitely a great place to visit in late July! You can't beat these cooler temperatures! Yeah, this is definitely Nevada, but not the desert parts! Thanks, Craig! Much appreciated, my friend!
Great video thank you 👍🏻
Thank you so much! I'm really glad that you enjoyed it!
