Summary of the video: It's not about if the world is an illusion or not. It's about how you are perceiving the world. What you are seeing in the world. Do you think or feel the world is wrong? If you do, it means you have chosen the wrong mind.
Nothing is wrong in the world. Everything is exactly as it needs to be. It's the Atonement. The world is only for forgiveness so it can't be wrong.
What you see in the world is what you have chosen to identify as. If you see violence you have chosen to identify as violence because there is violence in your mind.
When you change your mind, you won't see wrongness in the world anymore. Everything has a purpose. Everything is exactly as it should be.
You do absolutely NOTHING to fix the ego or the world. You just look at it without any judgment at all. You just see that you are chosing to identify as a separate self that doesn't exist, and it’s completely insane, and then you forgive yourself.
All things work together for good. All you are ever forgiving it's your own decision to identify as an ego. You need only to forgive yourself for how much you don't want to forgive.
The happy dream is when nothing that happens in the dream makes you disturbed.

Only an illusion would want to return where nothing ever left.
What thinks it's somewhere and something else doesn't exist.
You ARE Heaven.
Everything else you think is an illusion to be undone, not to get you anywhere, but to see that all is as it's always been, once illusions fall away.

I am determined to see things differently! To see things from a place of unconditional love! What I am seeing now in my reality is lack limitation fear nervousness anger unbelief despair envy jealousy doubt …. This cannot be what God created for me and all his children!
This is proof that I do not understand God and his son(me)
Which means i do not know who I truly am!
I’m determined to see the weaknesses to the truth in me rather than those which shows me an illusion of myself!

According to Kenneth Wapnick's ACIM Concordance, the word "you" is addressed more than 18,000 times in the FIP edition. The final realization of the book is to remember who "you" are: the holy Son of God Himself. Everything else is a nightmare...
T-24.VI.4. Sums it up quite nicely...Forget not that the healing of God's Son is all the world is for.That is the only purpose the Holy Spirit sees in it, and thus the only one it has.

In doubt, ask the Holy Spirit that has been given to you freely. Ego will always want more or speak first. The atonement is for you to have the experience. If you don't have the experience, you won't learn it. No matter how much you reason with it. Blessings!!! ❤

So the ego buys A course in Miracles to help with ending suffering. Its the ego that reads it, studies the workbook and goes out and buys Kenneth Wapnick's course books and underlines almost everything he says. The ego meditates and practices forgiveness, but the ego is ultimately set up for failure. How then is success possible?
If i am understanding correctly the only thing to do is ignore the constant chatter of the mind and look at all of the thoughts of failure, guilt, hate, fear,etc without judgement and let them go with forgiveness. These thoughts will eventually lose their hold and drop away, along with the idea of separatness and whats left is the peace, love, and joy of the holy spirit. It was here all along.

The ego goes out and buys a workbook and underlines almost everything… bingo !! 😂😂that !!
Having chosen the ego, an illusory and painful self imposed limitation of What we are, and having divorced ourself from the Wholeness we already are in the Holy Spirit, we go out into the world fruitlessly trying to become whole as this illusory identity.
At some point we realise it hasn't worked and we start seeking a Spiritual happiness as this illusory identity.
Ultimately, though, it is the seeker identity that must dissolve.
The ego, the separate self, must learn that the Wholeness it seeks comes omly with the dissolving of the separate self identity.
It was all that was ever (only apparently) veiling Wholeness from Itself.

This is wonderful, thank you. I'd also like to say to the first questioner that I, too, recently watched One Day and was quietly destroyed by it. I suppose it's a good way to bring a lot of the grief up that has already been sitting there. It surprised me, and I'm still thinking about it.

But how incipit guilt seeps in to respond with crucifixion to itself (and permeates into every corner where light once was to "re-live" in the wrong mind only the deceptive ego version of instant panic of wrong-doing and punishment thereof! I have no story - and yet the story insists I have one more version to play out - just one more...temptation to play it one more time by forgetting first to call in / inviting Holy Spirit's Complete and Perfect Answer! I totally understand the idea....and true perhaps Jesus didn't care what happened to his body, but how far do we take that?. Do we not defend ourselves, take care of ourselves, be around to support our families? To me there are many shades of grey, it's not all black and white.
This is purely an identity issue.
The body can be defended without believing it is you, that it's predicament is yours, that it's death would be yours.

Keith, we don't have to do endless types of therapy to dig our past and make these emotions come up, right? It will happen naturally, right? The idea of doing endless therapy seems very tiring to me
I am 81 ... I have done tons of therapy, spiritual seeking and decades of on again off again ACIM. In my experience for me things continue to come up for healing in a very natural and surprising way, and I am so surprised that "stuff" is still beckoning to be healed. These days I just truly experience the hurt, the shame, the disappointment, whatever I had buried, sometimes actually savoring it because I stuffed it down. I remember it but stuffed down the feelings. When they come up decades later I am amazed how much some things hurt that I did much to sidestep and not let stop me from my "pursuits". I think wow, you were really good at making drama and turning it into a story, and yet never experiencing it. Now I welcome it, it's refreshing not tiring because I am willing to be with it and usually it quickly just gets emotionally digested so to speak. It's intriguing but then again I have always loved the journey process with all its twists and turns and aha's, and no longer delude myself that I had it way worse than others, like I used to. So the drama overlay is pretty much gone, just story.

Is that not contradictory to lesson 135…”What could you not accept if you but knew that everything that happens, all events past, present, and to come, are gently planned by One Whose only purpose is your good? The world we wrote with the ego had the purpose of preserving separateness, sin, guilt and fear.
The Holy Spirit reverse engineers that world to undo separateness through forgiveness.
The world does not manufacture your reality.
Your thoughts about the world do.

Thanks Keith, I know the world isn’t doing anything. But I’m still confused about ‘the ‘script is written’, ‘EVERYTHING is gently planned…’ and the fact that i KNOW i am not the doer. Life(this dream) is happening thru me not to me. And mini me, changing its thoughts about it, over several decades, hasn’t changed anything on the ‘outside’. I’m not judging it one way or another, I’m just saying that ‘seems’ to be the experience.

This is what it means I think, like the Bible states "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." When you do a step back and let Him show you the way, in your mind, thoughts, trough forgiveness, correction, that there is nothing to forgive, He will do that if you let Him correct all past errors.

It's an attack on people to see them as bodies, victims, helpless, etc.
We only attack people like that when we've first attacked ourself to believe we are bodies, victims, helpless etc - when we've chosen to be an ego.
If you knew yourself as Unlimited Spirit, you would see everyone the same.
This doesn't mean, at the level of form, you wouldn't help and extend love.
But it DOES mean, at the level of the mind, you wouldn't make the dream real.
Your feelings about the world are your own feelings as an ego projected onto the world.
The Course calls this false empathy.
You, the ego, are empathising with the ego in your brothers, strengthening ego in both of you.
In the Holy Instant, the Strength of Christ in you sees that same strength in your brother, strengthening the awareness of Christ in both of you.
@@acimwithkeith- Hey, Keith. I have been studying the Course for a few years and I am struggling a lot to put in practice these teachings. It seems wonderful but it also seems impossible to not get disturbed by anything in the world. Did you get there? Do you live the "happy dream"?
