The island is called Rottnest Island (or Rotto to the locals) as a variation of Ratts Nest Island- because they guy who discovered it thought they were giant rats

NO ONE FEED THE QUOKAS! They really should tell you on the ferry but they don't :( It upsets there little tummies
Brittney: NO. DO NOT FEED THE QUOKKAS. Of course if you try to feed it some natural vegetation they're already eating then the food itself won't necessarily make them sick, but it will still encourage them to try to obtain food from humans and that's a big problem. This is why our relationship with quokkas should be 100% OBSERVATIONAL only. :)
After stepping off the ferry, there's a big sign about how to take a Quokkaselfie, on the way to the interior of the island.

I haven't gone on holidays for almost a decade now, basically stuck at home taking care of my severely stroke father and disabled mother for years (I'm their only child, who is also single and childless, I can't leave them because they can't take care of themselves)... My holidays/picnics are through my tablet/phone, I thank the TH-camrs who "took" me on their holidays/adventures. This video is so much fun, you guys (all species in this) are all adorable!!!

I HONESTLY LOVE that you have been in SO SO SOOO many places as me and my family memebers. It's acctually a bit crazy. For example my dad was visiting Rottnest in January, I havet been to Romania (my dad is born in Sinaia) and also I stayed att the Sofitel Plaza in Manila in april.(And also some other places like Thailand and Cebu) So crazy!!

Next time you and Laura need to come to the Grampians in Victoria (couple hours away from Melbourne) and climb the Pinnacle. Best view and waterfalls i have ever seen! I do the climb at least four times a year! Seriously, fly over here now!
I live in perth and was at "Rotto" last month. You captured it pretty well in a short amount of time. Next time u come back see if you can either stay the night there or get the earliest ferry possible. Happy to take u around Perth and West Oz too :)
