Hi Andrew - apologies for posting off-topic here but I thought your username sounded familiar, I was looking around for videos featuring the PSS790 / PSS795 and yours from several years ago came up (it was closed for comments so I couldn't say hello there) - sad to see you were finally letting yours go after all those years. We traded a few 790 song tracks with you in the early 90s (on disc via the post, no internet then!)
thank you for the review video. Just one complain, i really can't stand that stand.. too shaky! 😂 other than that, great video! Really helps us get a good idea of the piano. Just too polyphonic sounding to my liking.
Yeah, the stand is from 1994 and the rubbers perished decades ago! Well spotted! My daughter is using it directly on a desk, not ideal either but considerably more stable.
Absolutely not. About half to two-thirds, and bear in mind this was recorded on a smartphone's built-in mic. It sounds a lot less tinny in real life, although obviously at £75-£100 it won't compete with epianos costing five times more.
CAN THE SOUND OF THE PIANO BE RETURNED TO HOW IT WAS WHEN I PURCHASED IT? THE NOTES SOUND BAD TO ME. THE DO KEY SOUNDS TO ME LIKE SUN b, ETC. THANK YOU IF YOU CAN REPORT ...

Enjoyed the video. What is the build quality like? Thank you.
Sturdy enough to survive a young teenager's bedroom for more than a year.
@@aroakley Thank you for the quick reply. I see that Midiplus has introduced the E2 model.

Hello, Is the keyboard at maximum volume?

Good Lord, I need to tidy my study. And wear nicer clothes if I'm going to be in shot. And lose about ten kilos. It was Christmas, forgive me.
Lol
How much does it weigh?
3.3kg / seven and a quarter imperial pounds. The "Cobra 49" keyboard bag fits it just right and makes it easy to carry.

Use the "transpose" feature to retune in semitone steps, as noted in the manual.
