Seems super easy to transfer all that audio with just one usb to each individual channel on a Mx-1 need to get one of these great demo and Explanation.

yes, it's a nice workflow especially if you already have any aira/boutique gear that works nicely with the MX-1 - glad you found it useful, thanks!

cheers man that was helpful - not many new vids on MX1 but I have been loving mine with tr8 / mc707 combo super easy to setup and minimal cables!

Cheers mate. This was spot on. What stand is that you’re using for both tr8s and MX1?

thanks and glad you found it useful. actually that was a custom stand I knocked together in the shed with some offcuts of wood!

Hello! In this setup do you have any option for multitracks recordings like when you choose tr-8s like audiointerface. It's good idea use individual output for sidechain, but not comfortable record all the leftover on only one track( it's 10 drum sound) and only kick on the other track. I hope my question is clear, thank you for video

Hi thanks for your question - as I recall the TR8S will still record the ‘summed’ outs via Aria (usb) into MX, excepted for any you have chosen to individually record on separate outs, so basically you can mix and match to get exactly the recording process you need - it’s very flexible, I hope that answers your question. And thanks for watching!

Is there any chance you could do a set up tutorial on MX1 with Logic? There’s good videos for Ableton but can’t find anything for Logic. I need a bit of help understanding the 3 different modes the MX1 has. & how they work best with what etc.
This assignable out thing is wicked, and that beat was sounding well nice. Was that all stock sounds on TR8s or imported samples?

thanks! the main drums were coming straight from TR8S if I recall (was a while ago!) - the rest of the groove I think coming from combination of Aira synths and Se-02.

would love to help with your Logic setup but I only use that for specific tasks and don't do any hardware routing etc - also my setup has evolved now since I recently got the Push Standalone and no longer using the MX-1 in the same way, sorry couldn't be more help but good luck with it and report back here for sure if you solve it with Logic, in case others have similar question!

Is the mx1 more for performance or is it any good for a studio.
I have a 16 channel 32 input analogue mixer with two FX engine in it. Not sure on direction to take?

Yes I’d say more for performance, or if you are developing a hybrid or DAW-less focused setup (and want to keep things very compact) - then it’s worth looking at. As a main studio mixer, it’s really best if you can utilise its specific mix of inputs (ie you already have some Aria gear) - otherwise, say for instance you have a lot of analogue gear and fx to incorporate, it will feel very limited to compared to your existing mixer.
