Next time,play as Byzantium,stockpile money for a while,and then make a couple colonies in the new world (around philadelphia for coolness factor),aka basically imitating the "New Oddyssey" scenario,I tried it a while ago and had lots of fun (though I started with only one colony instead of multiple not realizing how hard it'd be),it can take a bit to get the ball rolling but once you get it rolling it can really be quite something and just expanding and slowly taking over the americas and then going back to europe (oh yeah,think I forgot,after the colony/ies in the americas you use the abandon option on all european territories) and kicking the ottoman's ass can be really satisfying,added bonus if you reform the Roman Empire after coming back

Friendly nations wont help you but if you need someone to help you just trade request and put declare war choose who and boom you dont have to be at war with them it might decrease relations but you can improve relations by also declaring war on them😁😁
As a very expirienced aoh player i can confirm the part at 9:55 really hit my heart im really lost of words that he didnt take the whole sardinia by vassaling them and annexing or just taking the lands if he could at the peace thingy.
As an experienced player, it pained me that he didn't try to ally and form a union with Austria, just due to how good relations were

If you double click on a province when your attacking it will automatically send the troops you selected and on a province you can press w and that will pull of the troop purchasing screen Ps you can press space bar and that will go to the next turn instead of moving your mouse all the way to the bottom

if you continue Alex: click the low stability icon, turns you into a map mode where you see stability in different regions

i would say i mastered this game as building up economy basicly makes you a god as it gives you loads of money also for how the game is the bigger the country you choose the less dense the economic area is as the game spreads it out so one country could have 1 province but it could destroy you

I'm still newish to the "map grand strategy" games. Started on HOI4 and still screw up a bunch of stuff. Got Age of Civ 2 for $3 but I always screw up the turns mechanic and end up zooming through like 50 turns and a couple of the mechanics for government/economy I derp at.
