you're right, after finishing this kit, I now want the future one, soooooo cool and satisfied little kit. Hope they continue to release more variation!
Thank you, you are the first user who post video about this marble run, congrats!!!! 🥳🥳 Awesome video with tons of info. I am waiting for mine to come. Glad I ordered 2 x 2 bundle.
I'm looking for more info about this marble run as a present to my bf. I have to say that I really love your video! ❤ It is very helpful and enjoyable 🎉 Thank you for a good content 😊
Thanks for the video. lol it took me literally hours to try and troubleshoot the lift finally got it to work. I actually misread the instructions and had the barrier on the top on the other side so all the marbles would randomly fly into the top shelf lol
@@blackandredbuilds lol yeah, glad i didn't need to build another lift, would recommend getting the other set if you have the chance to, its pretty cool with the pair up and running
Be careful using the magnet tool, it will slightly magnetize the steel balls, causing them to get "sticky" and they may clump together when they touch each other.
@@blackandredbuilds Yes it did, on another home brew marble run machine. The smaller the balls are the more likely they will be affected. You could demagnetize by heating them up to a high temperature with a flame.
Ordered this yesterday from Amazon. Is there a chance you could do these videos in real time instead of 10000X speed, it would be a lot easier to see what your doing. Thanks for sharing.
Can you explain how you got the ball lifter to work continuously. I know it will stop automatically at ten minutes. It says that on ROKR"s web site and on the box? or directions. I built the main part and been playing with it. Love it but scared to try that lift build because I did not get how it worked. Will try anyway though. Instructions are so so for that part but the rest of build was excellent. I am in trouble if I don't get this lift working because I am getting the other 3 boxes in a few days. Another Last City and two Future city. I am clearly addicted to this thing! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. The video of you building it is way too fast even when I slow it down on YT. Well Thank You for a great review and build videos. They are really helpful. Peace. Reminds me of Blade Runner Movie.
Hey! Awesome video. I just recently received this via Kickstarter, and have it finished but cant get the lift to work! When i connect to power, i get expected results. Press the button once, and the lights turn on and the lift STARTS to work, but stops after one 'step'. :( Did you have any trouble with the lift assembly?
@@mikecampbell4299 I've since added all 15 marbles with no issues. So yeah just try removing all 15 with the magnet tool, then turn it on and add them one at a time through the bottom. Let me know if you get it working.👍👍
@@blackandredbuilds sorry for the delay. My issue was just due to lining up the lift rails incorrectly. It would "lock" into the teeth of the gear and I'd have to pull the entire motor out to realign it. It works now! 😀
The have a Pre-Sale for Parallel World Marble Run The Last City & The Future City for $119.99 at the moment, plus an another discount bringing the total for both to 101.99 delivered. Let's hope this is legit :-)
@@fouve87 I actually got it to work after contacting their customer service, but they only communicate in mandarin. The middle gear that’s connected to the motor shaft was on the wrong side, after I switched it, and it worked.

If I set them up side by side can I change it later to one on top of each other?
@markadar2900 yes you can. Just make sure you save all your extra pieces.

Haha.. told you. 🙂 I hope they make more versions as well.
I just received the future city from ROKR. Stay tuned for that one!!

Glad you liked the video. You're gonna love them!!
I got both models. I have a stack of their various wooden models to build at some point. Discovered these during Covid and was hooked.

@hanyue6174 I should be getting the future city soon. I'll be making a video connecting the two.
These are now available on Amazon! I'm thinking about getting one.

@djam43 good to know 👍
90 minute build? Hardly. I'm about 6 hours into the build, guessing 90 minutes more
Yeah, 90 minutes would be quite the feat.
. . .and yet the box claims 90 minutes. Maybe if you have already built a dozen of these already. . . 😎

@@66lwmorgan I'll think about it. They would just be very long videos. I might try one and see how it performs. Thank you for the feedback.
@@blackandredbuilds I appreciate that. I'd watch several videos split up in parts. Thanks again

@@fretted nice!!
How long did it take you to build it? Just curious on the build time, as that plays into whether something is worth the money haha
It took me just over 2 hours, but some say it takes them longer.
For a newbie like me with no plastic modelling experience, it took me almost 3 hrs..but it's satisfying though 😊
Having issues with my lift, the steps would jam up whenever I try to activate the lift. Such a pity
Did you get this fixed mine does the same thing. I cant seem to figure out why.
I’m the same hopefully someone figures it out even followed TH-cam videos

Looks like a mini PC 😂
Love the music, where is it from? Really reminds me of an ad video done by Jumeirah Hotels, called "The Traveller" 🙂
Now THIS is something I would get just to satisfy the child side in me Lol

I look on ROKR but couldn't find it can you put up a link for it thanks
It's not available yet. It should be available soon, but there is no exact date yet.

it will be available at the end of Sep
Is there a step-by-step guide for this online?
Not that I'm aware of.
it’s cool but that noise is kinda annoying 😂😂
The wood marble runs sound much nicer.
@@blackandredbuilds I actually find the sounds from a good plastic marble run to be satisfying! Go figure.
